Blacklight Forensics
"The Corpo investigators searched around the scene of the crime: a computer hack, performed on-site and right under the boss' nose. UV forensics revealed surprising details about the scene, though. White stains on the floor and the walls..."
I didn't expect this session to be that difficult to get through. And it wasn't until I started trying test renders to check the position, scale, and just overall scene. But wow, fireflies everywhere. I must have spent half a day just trying to figure out the source! In the end, I never actually figured it out. I mean, it was something caused by lighting (obviously) but I don't know what exactly. Even weirder, it only showed up in stereoscopic samples. In non-stereoscopic scenes, it was fine. This is one of the few examples of something I miss from SFM. I never had to deal with the odd, unexplained fireflies. But damn if the quality isn't amazing.
Regardless of all that, the scene IS done.

Velvet Revolver
One of the finest handguns on the market. You want it, and Judy knows where to get it. The velvet lounge behind the gun runner's club was so easy for you to break into that y'all decided to fill the extra time with some fun. The victim won't find his prized revolver tomorrow but he WILL find stains on the satins.
It's been a while since I converted something of Domino the Cat's, so it was quite rewarding for me to bring this into VR. Especially since it's Cyberpunk.

Plush but Decadent

It's always been a pleasure to work with Firebrand, and this is no exception. Besides some troubleshooting of textures, moving lighting and the scene build around to match the original scene, and some minor clipping, this was relatively easy to setup.
If anything, the problems I encountered were in the initial render and post. For some reason Blender just didn't have a good time with my first render, which lead to days wasted. I get extremely frustrated as I take great pride in how much content we put out on a weekly basis. Due to the rendering issue, this was held up by an extra week but it's finally done. On the plus side, I did learn I should keep tabs on renders and check what they look like AS a render progresses so I can catch problems when they happen. Live and learn.
This was my first time adding bloom to a Blender VR video in post. Please, let me know what you think. I won't be adding bloom to every scene we do, but in ones where it makes sense I will and I want to know what you all think of the result.
