What's New in the Xaide Update? (0.4 Full Changelog)
Hi all! So how's the new 0.4 update treating you all? Are you impressed with all the new content we managed to add? We know you must be.
But just how much new content is there? Let's go through the full 0.4 changelog and find out for ourselves!

New Options menu. - Added more options and made it scrollable. - Added a Text Animations setting to adjust animation speed for the text box. - You can now hold Shift while adjusting the game volume to fine tune it. - Added a Map Zoom setting. If the game looks too small at 100%, setting it to 150% will scale it back to how it was in 720p. - Added a MIN setting for Particles. When set to MIN, the maximum amount of particles will be halved to improve performance. - Added a Map Animation setting. Setting it to Off will render all map animations static, and setting it to MIN will halve their max frames.
New Main Menu. - Menu has been categorized to make it less cluttered. - All menu items, save for a few, are now animated. - The "To Title" and "Quit" commands now have a confirmation dialogue to prevent the player from misclicking and accidentally losing progress.
New Customize Equipment Menu. - When selecting a weapon mod, there will be a toggle button for toggling stats display for the weapon or selected mod. - All stats were color-coded when selecting a mod, green good, red bad.
New Skill Menu. - Added skills range and AoE preview. - Added a skill effect list.
New Item Menu. - Selected items will be displayed with higher resolution icons. - All of the item stats and effects were listed.
New Crafting Menu. - All crafting types are now merged into one menu. - Items stats and effects were displayed. - Item ingredients with higher resolution icons.
New Status Menu. - Displays all Caly's stats. - If there are two values for a stat, they're the primary and secondary weapons stats.
* New Sex Stats Menu.
* New Save/Load Menu.
* All selectable sections in the menus are now scrollable and have a scroll bar. * A progress bar will now show while the game is loading. ** Optimized the lighting system to improve performance.
Added weapons and Caly's new stat parameters. - Ergonomics: Determines cooldown durations for skills. - Recoil: Affects hit rate. - Weight: Affects Caly's speed in combat. A heavier loadout will her act slower. - Range: Modifies the range of skills. - Fire Mode: Determines how many shots are fire when using using a skill. - Noise: Adds the denoted value the global noise value (resets after every battle) whenever Caly uses a skill in battle. When the global noise value reaches a certain threshold, there's a chance that enemy reinforcements will appear.
5. Combat Overhauls - Combat UI overhaul
- Expanded the battle grid (it is now 13 x 7 as opposed to 5 x 6 + 6) to create more space for increased maneuverability and larger amounts of enemies to be placed in each battle.
- New style for the cut-ins animations
- Added new cut-ins for Xaide (39 images: 19 images each for the normal and horny version, plus one image of hand grabbing)
- Added horny versions of the old cut-ins -> Tripteen cut-ins: 68 images -> Urtu cut-ins: 51 images
- Added in-between states for clothing damage (4 images: from clothed to ripped, and from ripped to nude)
- Added more battlers (11 battlers in total) - Faulkner (armored/normal) - Wedge (armored/normal) - Biggs (armored/normal) - Pando (parasitic/normal) - Large Shroom - Walking Shroom - Jelly Shroom
- Added the "confusion" status effect and resized all the status effects to their correct size (6 kinds of status effects) - Confusion - Poison - Horny - Stun - Blind - Stats Down
- Added Xaide-themed combat standing art (12 images, 6 images of each horny and normal version) - Added horny versions of the old combat standing art - Tripteen: 22 + 6 -> 28 images (14 images of each normal and horny) - Urtu: 12 images (6 images of each normal and horny)
Added a New Timeline system for battle. - Specific stats (weight in this case) will determine how fast you'll act. - When the green banner reaches 0, the enemy reinforcement calculation occurs and certain events might happen. - Charging battlers will now display an appropriate icon on top of their unit icon. - Player end turn preview.
New AP System. - You can take as many actions as you want as long as you have the AP to spend. - Almost all actions cost AP now. - Move AP cost is based on how many tiles you'll travel.
New Battle UI. - The whole battle commands got redesigned. - Skills and items will be shown automatically when selecting commands. - Gauge bars will show you the cost of an action selected. - Bigger battle map. - Bigger portrait. - New cut-ins.
* Added more tutorials to explain the newly introduced mechanics. * Updated AI for enemies to make them more fun to fight against. * And lastly, fixed about 999 bugs, and possibly introducing 9999 new ones in the process.

It is finally here! After months of hard work, we now present the Beta 0.4 update of VoidBound to you all, complete with all the exciting new content on the planet of Xaide. A detailed changelog about this update will be released in a following post at a later date, but for now, get in there and experience Caly's latest adventures!
