A short update regarding our latest Public Build which was released a few days back. In 0.5.5, a major portion of the intro was reworked, including the Battle Tutorial, where players went head to head with a scripted fight to learn the basics of combat in VoidBound.
Unfortunately, this introduced an unintended anomaly whereby battles fought AFTER the tutorial would restrict Caly to left movement only for the first two turns. Thankfully afterwards, her multi-direction mobility would get restored to normal.
As aforementioned, this was a completely unintended goof and was immediately fixed once detected. Though not glaringly game wrecking, we still regard this as an important enough issue to warrant a separate post of its own. The solution has been baked into updated builds and links have been swapped in the original post here.
Sincerest apologies for this one getting through our testing net and any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.
