Hi again folks o/
It's the final stretch of the month and our "slow but sure" ship is gliding towards its impending patch release. When would that be, you ask? I wish I could get a clear answer for your but, for now at least, all I get out of our tight lipped team is a menacingly low pitched growling. In the interest of self preservation, lets change gears and go over our progress of the week.
The long haul of animating Henosis's various district signs, has finally concluded. I've been told by the artist that it was a fun experience but for some reason, the programmer is crouched in the corner mumbling something about "optimization nightmares". Concerning? Meh.. I'm sure he will be fine. Moving on, the new side quests we mentioned earlier in the month are now close to full implementation. Of-course nothing ever concludes smoothly but that is the BugBound life.
Old code continues to receive new restoration touches, from unique skills now gated behind prerequisite requirements to detailed weapon mod re-balancing. Finally, we had a breakthrough in the BGM side of things, but... eh, the progress report will fill you in on all the "buts".
That about sums it up for this month. Plans are underway to improve upon the progress reports without disrupting the quality of work being invested into VoidBound. To that affect, a few ideas have already been brainstormed and finalized for the next month and we're looking forward to showcasing them to you.
Till then, stay safe o/

Cursed Atelier Team
Greetings folks o/
Week 3 of our labors bring forth, fashion! Well fashion and a few other things but extraterrestrial vogue perked up the majority of the team curiosity. The plan was to showcase various outfits in this report but the powers above came to the conclusion that it's too vibrant a concept to be simply presented as a static image and thus, would be reserved until an animated report is green lit.
Apologies but, for now, lay your eyes on our recently finished silhouette design for various NPCs inhabiting the Voidverse. We've more we want to share on this and we will in a separate post down the line. Other than that, this week mostly ensued revisiting old codeworks, bringing new balance to combat scenarios, adding more tools to Caly's arsenal and our music director playing with gun fire. Well.. not literally but..- yea, you will understand when you read the report.
That about sums this week up. As usual, we appreciate your time and look forward to the next one o/

Hi folks! Now that we've comfortably settled into our weekly progress report groove, it's time to start experimenting with content that we can slide in between them. We start off with a small collection; a sneak peak if you will, of original content that was done in December of 2021. At the time, we shared a pack full of such artistic goodies with our Observer and higher ranking patrons, something we continue do so on a monthly basis to this very day.
Now, however, we feel it's best that we share a glimpse of it with our support base entire. As such, though the contents of this post are public and freely available to view on our Twitter as well.
On a special note, thank you all for your continued support. You're the reason we can continue bringing more creative content to VoidBound. We'll be back next time with a detailed report followed by a special announcement close on its heels.
Till then, we hope you stay safe and in high spirits o/

Hi folks o./
As the slow march of March brings forth a fresh new Summer breeze, we too usher in something, a tad bit refreshing. The progress report presentation style up until now has been a slew of bullet points accompanied by an image that would give you a static glimpse of the work in development. Though sufficient for the intent, we still felt we could do better and so decided to take it up a notch and experimented with animated media assets. The result:
Considering this is our first stab at the concept, we sincerely hope you'd forgive the less than stellar outcome this time. It was a major struggle balancing video quality and reasonable file size in order to make sure the report didn't bloat into the realm of unreasonable. Fortunately, we learned a lot playing with this new idea and hopefully, based on the feedback, we will refine and streamline this concept further in order to showcase much more detailed variations in the future.
Finally, we've a special announcement. Something that we will go in much more detail next time as the occasion itself warrants a post of its own. Till then, stay tuned!
Regards o/

Ohai Folks o/
March has dawned, seven days have passed and thus, it's time, for the opening report of the month. This week started on a chaotic note with the staff scrambling back to their respective desks making last minute critical changes to the whole patch itinerary, pretty much throwing our release predictions out the window. Nothing ever goes as planned, does it..
Oh well, creativity is seldom logical. Two new quests have been flagged for sudden inclusion with writers burning the midnight oil to make sure it smoothly meshes with the existing story-line. Meanwhile, our programmer is severely abusing the energy supplements in order to fight code generated foes that keep jumping out of testing when trying to fuse the new with the old content, a phenomenon that seems to be happening on a daily basis these days.
On a more cheery note, please stay tuned for a special announcement regarding a worldwide showcasing event that will be held by the end of the month. We'll share more, once more details become available, on our twitter in the coming few days.
Till then o/
Regards,
