Welcome to the latest update of Gacha Cummy v1.4! This patch introduces a new chapter, gameplay improvements as well as a new Live2D system that allowed us to make the entirety of this update Animated! This update took a bit longer to make because of this, but we are sure that you’ll enjoy the improvements the new system brings to the table! In addition, two beloved characters join the cast of Gacha Cummy! Read in detail down below:

Main Additions:

New Main Story Chapter: Brave the challenges of the Inquisition in the continuation of the story! Face trials, acquire new allies, and continue your service to the Goddess. 

New S-Rank & A-Rank Guests: Two formidable Guests are here to test your resolve! Jeanne Alter and Kal’tsit lead the investigation into your status as a Servant of the Goddess. Prove your worth, win them over, and they may just join your cause! With unique outfits, gameplay and an S-Rank status, they bring fresh gameplay and new stories to the game.

New Side Story: Jeanne Alter’s defiance of religion makes her difficult to handle… especially with you being a priest… So it’s up to you to break through her attitude and teach her a lesson in respect! Will you be able to put her in her place?

2 Animated Scenes: Enjoy two new animated story scenes added in this update!

5 New Animated Random Events: More random events added to your camp for you to deepen your bonds with your allies!

Gameplay Additions:
New Area: An entirely new area for you to battle in! The outskirts of the forest will prove a good battleground! Unlocked after completing certain new side-quest.

New Equipment Sets: Strengthen your team with two powerful new sets of gear designed to complement the new Guests you encounter!

New Bathhouse Upgrade: Upgrade your tavern with a brand-new bathhouse! This addition increases the chances of triggering random events and even unlocks some new ones! Be sure to upgrade!

New Camp Zones: Two new interior areas have been added to your camp! These will now appear in cutscenes, adding more depth to your surroundings.

Increased Level Caps: Push yourself further, for your Goddess demands it! Character level caps have been raised as you progress through the story.

New Enemies: Prepare to face six new foes as you venture into the latest chapter!

New System - Live2D: With the introduction of the Live2D system, expect even more animated scenes in the future!

New Save Screen Window: A fresh new interface for managing your saves more efficiently!

Addition of In-Game Patch Notes: Check updates directly in the game!

New Subclass: A brand-new subclass is available for you to unlock as you progress through the story!

New Music Tracks: New tracks have been added to the game to improve your experience!

Merge of Support and Healer Classes: These two roles have now been combined for better synergy and team-building.

Potency Rework: Potency now affects not just the chance to inflict effects but also their overall effectiveness.

Bug Fixes:

Fixed a bug where Dullahan’s parry caused Taihou’s attack to malfunction.

Fixed an issue preventing movement after certain events.

Fixed a crash on Android devices caused by Tamamo’s attack.

Fixed an infinite stacking bug in Frozen Mountains.

Fixed an issue with sorting items from the previous year.

Fixed a miscalculation in accuracy and evasion mechanics.

Hello and welcome to this week’s Gacha Cummy update! While we’re working hard on the next chapter, we’re here to share some news about our progress and future plans!

When we first launched the game, it lacked animated scenes, which was a pretty big difference compared to our previous game that featured plenty of them. However, we’ve been steadily shifting back toward animated scenes, and now, we’re considering taking it further!

We're seriously considering incorporating Live2D into story content to make it look livelier than before! Below, you can check out a WIP preview of how it might look once it releases in the update.

Additionally, we’re considering re-animating some of the existing still CGs! However, as previous CGs were not built with animation in mind, it might take some time before we actually do them.

Live2D differs from the traditional frame-by-frame animation we’ve used so far, so we’d love to hear your thoughts about it! Do you like it? Would you like to see more or less of it?

Also, don’t forget that the current VOTE for the characters to receive high affinity with the Black Lipstick is still underway! Help us decide who will get their own look, scenes and more by voting in the poll!
