Hello and welcome to this week's Gacha Cummy Progress Report! Today we've got some big news to share, so let's dive right in! Previously, we revealed the two new generic transformations for your allies to indulge in, and hinted that there would be a narrative reason for their inclusion in the story. Well, now it's time to reveal those reasons!

You see, the Beastman Kingdom holds the nature of battle very close to its chest. Through battle, the government is decided and changed, with anyone capable of bringing down even the mightiest king able to claim their place at the top. So, would it really be a surprise that the place where the toughest champions are forged is held in such high regard by the crown? The Arena is a mighty fine establishment, granting its Champion unprecedented access to the Ruler of Clawhaven, as well as a share of the funds brought in by the city's beloved pastime. The Champion can bring propositions directly before the King, and their words carry considerable weight. After all, only those who have proven themselves in battle can claim the title of Arena Champion!

Previously, that title belonged to Olivia, the mighty Horsegirl you might've met during your time skulking through the streets of Clawhaven in preparation for bringing down the King. She never really used her position to further any political goals, being in it purely for the thrill of battle! However, with her sudden disappearance, different factions have come forth to claim the vacant title. While many teams participate in the Arena's tournaments, two have risen above the rest, trading victories between themselves much to their chagrin. Noblesse Nocturne from Velgarde and Sun's Chosen have emerged as the dominant contenders, with their warriors working tirelessly to bring the current crown in line with the interests of their respective homelands.

And this is where you come into the fold! After your visit to the Arena, you will be offered a place in the Arena's brackets on account of having defeated the King (and possibly the Champion!) yourself! The crowd wants to see whether your victory was merely a fluke, while both factions are eager to have such a powerful contender fight under their banner. After all, someone capable of taking down the King could be just what they need to finally secure the Arena for themselves, right?

And so, this is where the gameplay portion of the Arena comes in! We've designed it as one of the endgame options for you to test your skills and team-building! Each time you enter, you will have to pay an entrance fee and choose between the two factions: the Batgirls of Noblesse Nocturne or the Lamias of Sun's Chosen.

The competition takes the form of a randomized 8-team bracket, with you taking one of the spots alongside the faction you selected. The matchups can be shuffled if you would rather face a different opponent, and every team comes with its own unique champion for you to test your might against. Should you suffer a defeat, fret not! You'll be sent to the loser's bracket, giving you a chance to claw your way back to the top, provided you're tenacious enough!

To keep things from getting too easy, the Arena also comes with an enchantment limit. After all, what fun would there be if you could simply steamroll through our latest content?

Once your run comes to an end, you'll gain access to the store belonging to your chosen faction. Every victory along the way earns you additional gold to spend there, with both sides offering their own unique gear AND a signature item that they'll happily grant you should you emerge victorious! These items are quite powerful, giving you new ways of building your team around their unique effects. Each faction also sells a Transformation item that can turn one of your allies into their corresponding species!

If you don't wish to spend your hard-earned gold on gear, though, there's always Clawhaven's special forge! You can use the Manes earned during your run to enchant your items instead. But beware: once your run concludes, all remaining Manes will be converted back into gold! So spend as much as you can before you lose them all!

Today marks the conclusion of the FIRST part of the poll to decide who will receive the High Affinity Transformations in the upcoming update! It was a close battle, but in the end, only the top victors made it far enough to receive the High Affinities! Tamamo and Kal'tsit have been chosen by the votes, and now they'll both move forward to the next stage.

But the next list is special! We've shared it before, and now you'll be able to vote on the transformations pertaining to each character! This'll be a multiple-choice poll, as mentioned before. However, only the top choice for each character will be added in the next update! So choose wisely, as their addition will shape the future of Gacha Cummy!

Now, onto the news of the next update! We're already hard at work crafting the next entry into Gacha Cummy, with Vampire Bats and Lamias taking center stage! While we're still busy deciding on the final appearance of the Lamia, we've taken great care in designing her opposition! And so, we present you with our Vesperi Bat Girl!

Hailing from the Vampire Kingdom of Velgarde, they are part of the beastman branch of the vampire race. Not at all native to the Great Forest, they hail from a great distance with the goal of... We'll reveal that part later! But for now, please feast your eyes upon their adorable gothic design. We've tried to incorporate some fun character designs from some of the newer vampire girls in media, while also playing around with bat characteristics to make them more interesting visually.
