V0.91.02

With this update we reach our second ending. Sometimes we can't predict events of our life even if things don't go our way... sometimes we get something else.

Overall I am pretty happy from this ending. Originally it wasn't supposed to be in game but I felt that Iris has potential for kind of "angel" arc for Jack while he would be depressed by events. I hope you like it as much as I do.

There will be around 12-13 endings in the game so it's not the only ending in which Iris will be featured ;-)

2nd Anniversary of In Her Service

Next ending obviously. I have more free March from my job so I should deliver more content to you guys. What will be the next ending ? That's for me to spoil you with sneak peeks :)

What's Next ?

On 28th of February 2024 I launched first public version to you all folks (V0.39) which means In Her Service is two years old. I am very thankful that I gathered in that time so many fans. Back when I started IHS creation I always wondered if someone will find my game good.

Because of that 2nd Anniversary, I will be posting every day something about me, In Her Service, where it was and where it is going. I will also spill some things about new upcoming game and how my plans look like. I owe it to you my fans.

V0.91.00

Nearly two years after I released the first 0.39 version, we finally have our first fully finished ending! It’s one of around 12-13 endings, but it’s a huge milestone for me... and I hope for you too.

Right now the ending events aren’t connected in-game, so you’ll have to play them through the flowchart. That actually works in my favor: it lets me edit and branch them out later for the other endings without breaking anything.

Finishing this ending was a weird mix of emotions for me. I’m really happy I managed to get it done, but at the same time I feel kind of sad that the end is finally in sight for IHS. Obviously it’s not the complete finish yet, but still... 3-4 years of my life with these characters. That hits different.

In other news, we just crossed 7000 renders. I still can’t believe I did that completely solo. And yeah, like three-quarters of them are from sex scenes... I use paper dolls way more for dialogue and quieter moments than most other projects do. Hitting 7k–11k renders is usually big-boys-club territory reserved for teams, not one lone dev. Feels pretty wild. I did some smart choices during pre-production and I'm happy from that.

What's Next ?

V0.91.01/V0.92.00 will bring the start of a new ending... or maybe even a whole one, depending on how my work goes. Some endings will be shorter than others, and some will be longer, with two in particular being really long.

One of the reasons I'm not making all the endings at once is that I want each one to feel completely different. By tackling them one by one, I can focus entirely on the ending I'm working on and give it a unique flavor that might otherwise get lost.

The audio update is still in the works. Maybe it'll be finished by the next update. It's supposed to rework almost all the sex sounds in the whole game: slaps, moans, etc.

Next month will also mark the 2nd anniversary of me launching first version of the game to all you guys. I'll discuss the past year, the future, and share some fun news. It'll be a time to reflect on my work and do a self-review of it too.

V0.90.02

A lot of small things and continuation of current ending preparing space for big update at the end of the month finishing this ending.

3 new events are on shorter side and prepare you for the next bigger update at the end of the month. Still those who are fans of image less voyeur... just listening hmmm... there is something fun there. Story wise it is important update as you will see in the update.

This update has huge upgrade to android users who previously couldn't properly preview events in flowchart. Now i implemented double tap so first tap to preview and see what event holds a tile and then second tap to fire event up replaying it. Essentially internally I had to rework whole thing.

As I sat reworking Flowchart from ground up at start of this year I also wanted to get in long needed upgrades that I didn't know will be needed. First of all now when you play the game and you want to check where you are in story, the flowchart will open on part of tree where you are playing. No longer you need to scroll non stop to see events you are playing or watch others. So this annoying this is gone. Secondly smaller upgrade. Current event playing will be flashing for QOL.

What's Next ?

Big update at the end of the month finishing our first ending. I also hope that audio update will be ready then, alas that content requires a lot of work and imo is more important than audio update for now. Hopefully both will be delivered at the same time.

Next version will be 0.91.00 to signify first ending being done. Game will have 12-13 endings but some of them are additions to some endings or extensions of them so they will be done withing 0.9x update rather than small iterations.

After I am done with audio update my work-rate should also increase so most of endings will be done with either one update or two.

As always I am very thankful to you guys for support you show me. With that support I am blessed to work on something I/We like.

V0.90.00

It's here ! Finally... UFFFFF !!!

Finally we are done with the main story of the game with my biggest update yet. The update ends a bit weird but, it will smoothly flow into endings you'll see. So what is in this update ? A lot of for NTR fans. 2 NTR events for Sylvia. One direct one and one POV. Then there is Talia's Love and NTR event for Talia's fans. Aside of that there are 2 "normal events" very short ones and 2 iris also short events. I also think it is my so far best content :)

What's Next ?

ENDINGS !! Much like A and B side of some events I will be doing ending one after another instead all of them at once. There will be about 10-12 different endings. The number is still up in air as I need to go through them again and some of the events slightly differ from when I designed. Moreover those endings will vary in size. Some will be short, some will be long.

Another benefit of finishing main story is that I can cleanly cut player made choices. Which means almost no variations of events, which means faster dev time. I expect endings to take me another half a year before we get 1.0 So you can expect now faster content creation with endings.

So than you very much for your support guys, I wouldn't be able to achieve this milestone without you guys.

In coming days I will also write post mortem on why 0.90.00 took so long. There are few things under the hood that required my attention. Like new UI, audio stuff etc. that will come soon in updates.

This update is quite small due to me still working on V0.90.00 It has two POV events focused on Iris and Fiona relationship, fleshing out Iris POV. Later on i will add "path" along with proper name just like Sylvia's. There are still some Iris events to flesh out but not that many.

What's Next ?

Main goal is still to finish 0.90.00. Hopefully it will be finished by the end of this month. If it still won't be finished then there will be another smaller update.

V0.89.80

This update is quite small due to me still working on V0.89.80. It has two POV events focused on Iris. One is super short and one is medium size.

Additionally I fixed Iris sex scene with the General. For some reason it was bugged for past few releases and I didn't notice it. It's E092B-3 available from flowchart and in game if you pick your choices right.

What's Next ?

Main goal is to finish 0.90.00 Unfortunately the dev of it isn't going as fast as I want it to be mainly due to animations issues. I hope that by the end of this month if will be finished and finally I will be able to move much faster with ending updates delivering you guys content quicker.

Meanwhile, If 0.90.00 will have more delays I will be releasing smaller updates with POV's to fill out rest of the flowchart. Initially i planned to fill them out after 0.90.00 but alas they came in to help me now, giving you guys something to bite on while waiting for 0.90.00.
