V0.90.00

It's here ! Finally... UFFFFF !!!

Finally we are done with the main story of the game with my biggest update yet. The update ends a bit weird but, it will smoothly flow into endings you'll see. So what is in this update ? A lot of for NTR fans. 2 NTR events for Sylvia. One direct one and one POV. Then there is Talia's Love and NTR event for Talia's fans. Aside of that there are 2 "normal events" very short ones and 2 iris also short events. I also think it is my so far best content :)

What's Next ?

ENDINGS !! Much like A and B side of some events I will be doing ending one after another instead all of them at once. There will be about 10-12 different endings. The number is still up in air as I need to go through them again and some of the events slightly differ from when I designed. Moreover those endings will vary in size. Some will be short, some will be long.

Another benefit of finishing main story is that I can cleanly cut player made choices. Which means almost no variations of events, which means faster dev time. I expect endings to take me another half a year before we get 1.0 So you can expect now faster content creation with endings.

So than you very much for your support guys, I wouldn't be able to achieve this milestone without you guys.

In coming days I will also write post mortem on why 0.90.00 took so long. There are few things under the hood that required my attention. Like new UI, audio stuff etc. that will come soon in updates.

This update is quite small due to me still working on V0.90.00 It has two POV events focused on Iris and Fiona relationship, fleshing out Iris POV. Later on i will add "path" along with proper name just like Sylvia's. There are still some Iris events to flesh out but not that many.

What's Next ?

Main goal is still to finish 0.90.00. Hopefully it will be finished by the end of this month. If it still won't be finished then there will be another smaller update.

This update is quite small due to me still working on V0.89.80. It has two POV events focused on Iris. One is super short and one is medium size.

Additionally I fixed Iris sex scene with the General. For some reason it was bugged for past few releases and I didn't notice it. It's E092B-3 available from flowchart and in game if you pick your choices right.

What's Next ?

Main goal is to finish 0.90.00 Unfortunately the dev of it isn't going as fast as I want it to be mainly due to animations issues. I hope that by the end of this month if will be finished and finally I will be able to move much faster with ending updates delivering you guys content quicker.

Meanwhile, If 0.90.00 will have more delays I will be releasing smaller updates with POV's to fill out rest of the flowchart. Initially i planned to fill them out after 0.90.00 but alas they came in to help me now, giving you guys something to bite on while waiting for 0.90.00.

V0.89.70

This is the third update this month and as mentioned in sneak peeks, it is pretty small. Just two events: One story E108 and one E072POV of Iris after training with Jack. Though I think you will find E108 interesting as it introduces a new character and it has an impact on what 0.90.00 will be about.

Additionally, because of technical debt I cleaned up a lot of junk from my code and took on a mission to re‑render almost all animations and recut them to reduce the size of the videos. For the past 5–6 releases, because the video files that contained animations were so large, I had to keep increasing the compression ratio on images. The last release was the worst, with nearly a 55 % compression ratio. After re‑rendering and recutting, I saved almost 800 MB and the compression ratio is back to a healthy 90 % (i.e., it’s basically impossible to tell the difference from direct renders).

Aside from that, I started working on a UI rework that I’m handling separately from version 0.90.00. One of the things I included in this release are notification pop up when you unlock a new POV scene in FLOWCHART, and I added a small info/tutorial about the existence of FLOWCHART for new players and what it does in Event 012—when you first receive a notification that a new POV is available from FLOWCHART.

What's Next ?

Finishing 0.90.00 is a big update that requires a lot of work. I thought September alone would suffice, but I was dead wrong. Right now I’m about 50 % done with it. I hope to release it by mid‑October, but I can’t be sure. If it won't be mid-October then for sure end of it.

For those who don’t know, the 0.90.00 update will bring an end to the main story of In Her Service, and that point in the story will split into separate endings. I’ll start working on them one after another. I’ll give more details when I release 0.90.00.

So quick ?! Barely a week has passed and a new update. Yeah, this update is a smaller one (but still spicy for Iris fans). Actually, it was supposed to be released last Friday but I had to work on my job Friday and Saturday.

As mentioned in the previous update, I am currently working on the V0.90.00 update which is a very large update. Meanwhile, I decided to split off a small part of it to make V0.90.00 more manageable going forward, and this part doesn't relate directly to the "event" itself. Plus, it gives you guys something new to enjoy in the meanwhile.

What's Next ?

Depending on how much I can get done by the end of the month, there might or might not be a 0.89.90 update. If I won't be able to finish the 0.90.00 update within this month, I will try to do an extra update with additional 1-2 POV scenes in the meantime, while I continue to work on 0.90.00.

Turns out that I was able to release it with a slight delay instead of multiple days. Pulled an all-nighter, plus work went much easier than I expected. Content-wise, there is one very short continuation of a story event + 2 POV events: one NTR and one ??? (I'll let you see it _)

What's Next ?

With 0.87, we'll slowly continue our story while I produce a backlog of POV events much like last few updates. There aren't many left though. 0.87 should be bigger than this release as I will have more free time from work. I think by 0.88 we will clear all POV events, and with 0.89 and 0.90.0, we will continue our story at full speed! And with 0.90.01, we will start the endings.

As always I am thankful for your continued support. I didn't expect to hit 5000 renders in just 1,5 years but it happened today. Hopefully early 2026 we will get 1.0 of IHS.
