Branded Poll - Which Routes Are You Most Looking Forward Too?

Branded 0.2 Poll (Which Main Character/s Do You Play?)


Hey hey all!
Slightly different update this week! Given it's been release week I've got a lot less of a progress update other then I've already started working on the next version. Instead I wanted to focus on the release of the latest version by dropping a few polls to see who people play as, and which routes they're enjoying/looking forward to the most. (I'll also likely redo these when it drops for free.)
So here's the first poll, with the other two to follow. Here I'm wondering which of the two main characters (El and Cam) do you play as, and if both which you prefer playing as.

Branded Progress Update - 27/07/2025


WHOSE! THAT POKE- Random person Cam seems angry at!?
Hey hey all,
This is the last update before the next version drops! I'll be dropping the next update this Wednesday (30th) for BLT tiers and above (barring any major bugs at the last minute, but I highly doubt that will happen).
I've been extensively testing this week to make sure everything works, and mostly, that my spelling isn't atrocious. On top of that I've managed to squeeze in another event I wanted for this update that I thought I wouldn't get in time, along with some very nice and fun secrets, interactions and teasers. Now all the testing and correcting has been sorted, I've also been able to properly start moving events over the recollection room and added all of the spicy scenes with CG's in. This means you can replay all of the major events whenever you want. In the future I'm going to also add the ability to edit player attributes in the scenes so you can see higher or lower corruption variants and other changes.
I've got to say, the update is very nice and chonky. I was worried my plan to try and get a continuation for all characters routes, AND new ones introduced might have spread the events too thin, but it really has added a great variety and heavy amount of content overall. Not only this but it's built on each routes foundations to give a solid peep and few events to let you really jump in and get a feel for how they will progress. Jen enjoyers in particular will be eating quite well, but I think everyone will have some good fucking food with this one.
For the teaser picture this week I wanted to go with some Cam moments without giving too much away, as I want to have as much be fresh for the new release as possible. Here it seems Cam is pretty serious in dealing with this hooded individual (who I have edited to leave no obvious clues as to who it is).
That's all for now. I'm going to try to get some exploration rewards and side content implemented as well as finish some more test runs with others at the helm to make sure the progression is intuitive (the new quest system certainly doing the work).

Branded Progress Update - 20/07/2025


Hey hey all,
We're entering the finale stretch before the next update of the game and whooooo boy it's looking really juicy. I've been tallying through the events and content in this update and it really is a hefty one.
Some of the events have turned out to have such variety based on player corruption levels, who you're playing, if Cam has mana available, previous interactions and choices, just to name a (lot) few. One event in particular having a wide array of changing dialogue and player thoughts based off who you were playing and both characters corruption levels. Unfortunately you won't fully get to fully see this variety in the corruption dialogue just yet as in the early stages you may not reach some of the corruption thresholds and if you do you will only then see the changes in one or two scenes once you've done enough to reach that point. But this does add a nice future proofing and reward for those who are truly embracing every angle of degeneracy thrown at them.
I'm now fully done with adding in new scenes and maps, so my focus is going to be going as hard as I can on implementing sprites for everything so far (CG art and some sprites are already complete) and on doing as much testing and bug fixing as I can from a fresh full playthrough trying multiple variations.
Now I promised a reveal of the other half of a CG scene last week, showing just what Cam was so angry at over dinner. And the answer is pretty clear in what's shown. This scene is the first introduction to the Duke of Valdstead, a major player in the story, and part of that large varying event I mentioned earlier. The events in the image shown are avoidable and down to player choice but this particular outcome is a lot more fun to show off. I won't give more away as I've already said too much and want people to be able to properly experience the scenes and situations when it releases.
That's all for now. This week I will be crunching as hard as I can to get the best finale product ready for release. For those desperate for a date, it will be the end of the month, possibly even the 31st if I really need the time to polish. I should hopefully be able to give a real solid, this day in my update next week. (I know that's basically announcing on release but I really have been trying to get as much as I can in this first release so it's a lot more down to how much I can polish it in the time left and if I encounter any major bugs on a fresh none setup test run.)

Branded Progress Update - 13/07/2025


Hey hey,
Not as much to update this week as it's currently just me trying to get as much as I can in the time I have for the release end of this month. Going to try to get in as much content as possible but I've certainly reached for the moon and then some for the amount I wanted to get done for this release.
Some of the scenes I worked on this week ended up much more complex then I'd initially planned with multiple decisions cropping up as to how you want to act or different outs as they progress to control the flow of just how far you want things to go this quickly, but as such that's meant they've took much longer to fully finish as well. I've also started throwing in some of the higher corruption options, even though the player wont have enough corruption to pick them yet, so that there's a bit of flavour and a tease for what you could choose down the line if you really lean into that side of things.
I'll leave it with just a nice little teaser for one of the coming scenes. I wonder what could have Cam this angry over dinner? (I'll share the other half next week).
