HARD DAYS – PUBLIC DEVELOPMENT UPDATE – EVERYTHING IS GOING GREAT!

It’s time for this month’s public development update, so let’s get to it:
The first part of Night 5 is finished and currently being translated! I’m already working on the renders for the second part, which, as I mentioned before, will have more action than words. Depending on your choices, our dear Loren will arrive home in different ways—but she will arrive. Now, you might be wondering… where has she been? Patience! Soon, you’ll find out where Loren had to go! 😉
It’s been a pretty good week, though I ended up spending more time than expected on dialogues. As I write them, little details change, which means I have to go back and forth a few times to make sure everything turns out exactly the way I want. 😉
This week, I’ve added about 20 new renders, bringing the total for Night 5 to over 130 renders and 3 animations. And the best part? The first part of the night is fully completed, dialogues and all!
I’m now working on the renders and animations for the two main routes of the night—Loren will have to make a choice, and then she’ll have to go through a certain… Oops, almost dropped a spoiler there! Nope, not today! XDXD
There will be some small changes in both routes compared to the original plan. As I feared, when dialogues bring images to life, things evolve—but almost always for the better! 😉
Not much else to report for now. This is a short update since it's been a busy week mostly spent on writing dialogues. But with the first part done, it's time to dive into the most action-packed section of the night—the part where words are no longer needed. 😉

Una semana bastante buena, con algún dÃa más del que me hubiese gustado trabajando en los diálogos, ya que conforme los voy haciendo, van cambiando pequeñas cosas, cosas que me hacen volver atrás y adelante varias veces, para que al final todo queda como quiero que quede ;)
Unos 20 nuevos renders esta semana, ya hay un total de más de 130 renders y 3 animaciones para la noche del dÃa 5, y lo mejor de todo, con la primera parte de la noche ya completa con diálogos y todo!
Habrá algún pequeño cambio en las dos rutas de lo planeado inicialmente, tal como me temÃa, cuando los diálogos le dan vida a las imágenes, las cosas cambian, pero siempre, o casi siempre, cambian para mejor ;)
Y poco mas que contaros, hoy será un avance cortito, una semana ajetreada, trabajando en los diálogos la mayor parte de la semana, pero la primera parte ya está terminada, y ahora a por la parte con más acción de la noche, la parte donde las palabras sobran ;)

HARD DAYS - PUBLIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRESS- GETTING MAD WON’T HELP ;)
Hello again, everyone, public progress of the month!!
This week’s been a bit routine and, honestly, a bit slow since I haven’t managed to work every day. I just ran into a small issue with the dialogues—let me fill you in:
This week, I’ve been working on dialogue. Since the translator will be unavailable for the next few weeks, I wanted to send him everything I’d done so far with the renders. There’s a chance I’ll have to translate the last part of Day 5 myself, but it’ll get a final review once the translator’s back on board.
A couple of hours ago, I sat down with a cup of coffee, ready to work on the dialogue for a while before writing this update. But then my PC suddenly restarted (still no idea why) and completely messed up the script I was working on, wiping out all the dialogue I’d done this week!
This is what pops up when I open the script now:
Fortunately, I split the dialogue into several scripts, so I only need to redo the parts I’d worked on this week. But from now on, I’ll definitely back everything up to the cloud after each session. Talk about a scare! I couldn’t even run the game until I removed the corrupted script and tweaked a few lines in the previous one.
No need to worry, though—this stuff happens, and it’s my own fault for not taking the proper precautions. I remember this part of the dialogue pretty well, so it shouldn’t take too long to redo. With a bit of luck (and some sleep), I should be back on track by Monday.
The plan is still to finish this update by the end of the month, and I’ll do everything I can to make it happen. Between today and tomorrow, I’ll try to recreate everything that was lost and finish up the dialogue for the current set of renders, so I can send it to the translator. Then I’ll move on to the final renders and animations. There’s still quite a bit left to do, but I feel like I have a good handle on things, so it should all flow smoothly. As I mentioned, I’ll probably handle the translation for the last part myself, and Bouli will do a final review once he’s back. I hope you’ll forgive any quirks in my English—especially since you’re used to Bouli’s fantastic translations! XD
Not much else to report, other than that I spent all week on the dialogues, only to have to redo them in a couple of days. But now there’s no time for overthinking—everything should move quickly at least up to the point where I left off! I knew it was too quiet a week… XDXD

Semana rutinaria, un poco floja ya que no he podido trabajar todos los dÃas, y acabo de tener un pequeño problema con los diálogos, os cuento:
Y poco mas que contaros, toda la semana con los diálogos para tener que rehacerlos en un par de dÃas, aunque ahora no hay análisis/parálisis, todo deberÃa ir muy rápido al menos hasta el punto donde me he quedado! Ya decÃa yo que estaba siendo una semana demasiado tranquila XDXD
