In the spirit of steady updates, allow me to tell you the progress of ongoing works. Also, I think it's fitting to give the Degeneration Log a title if a significant topic is discussed other than just simple updates, so I did just that.

That's it for the simple updates. On to the side-story poll results!

I've had the results for a couple of days now but was really locked-in on the Carrie stuff, so my apologies. I gathered 15 total suggestions, and 4 ultimately tied for first place. Here they are:

(Hollow Strength) A while after Kali starts dating Elm, a cute lesbian activist named Neon Katt knocks on her door, asking for donations and seeking to discuss Pride activities in the local community. They happily welcome her inside… and lock the door.
(Like A Lamb To The Sexual Slaughter) A glimpse into Sheila’s and Glynda’s trip in Hawaii and the fun they’re having.
(Blacked By A Toxic Futanari In America) Zoe drags Rangiku along to score several tablets of “Lemmon 714” quaaludes and immediately downs them all, then gets depressed that they’re a bust. On the way home, they get trapped in an elevator, and the building manager says they’re stuck there until tomorrow. The drugs kick in.
(Momo Is Built For It) A glimpse into Mirko’s first encounter with Adam’s Heaven.

The interesting thing is that the tie was more the result of a low number of voters rather than fierce competition. I made it a Merchant-only poll, and there are roughly 30 subscribers in the Merchant tier, so it somewhat tracks. If we look at the first phase of Prompt Polls, only about 120-130 people vote, and I have more than 500 subscribers (not counting the free tier).

Now, the idea behind the side-story bonus content stuff was to replace Prompt Polls with something worthwhile AND simple, so as to not pile onto my workload problem. Plus, I wanted it to work in some way as a perk for the Merchant of Degeneracy tier, as Prompt Poll submissions were the main perk for this tier but are momentarily gone.

Alas, here is my current conclusion based on our trial run: instead of making this a monthly event where I gather everyone's suggestions and run a poll, it'll occur periodically with no preset schedule. And, instead of taking only one idea, I'll take the most popular ones and maybe some that I handpick for whatever reason. I'll go through all the selected ideas at my own pace, and then run a new Bazaar of Degeneracy after I've completed that batch. This *should* be manageable since the plan is to write short/compressed side-stories and not the usual mega-sized/detailed 'main stories'. I want to say they'll have a cap of 3k words (ideally less), but we'll see how that goes. 

As for the eventual releases, they'll be exclusive to the Merchant tier for two weeks, and then go out to all tiers. They'll probably go public on HF/AO3 another two weeks later. I haven't decided on that yet.

This should keep it simple, manageable, and also link back to being a Merchant of Degeneracy perk. I might make future Bazaars of Degeneracy open to all tiers for suggestion-gathering, and then Merchants vote to help select the next batch of special orders. 

In other words, assuming I don't change my mind on any of this, I'll just take all four ideas that tied for the most interest in the poll. That said, please feel free to offer me your feedback in the comments below. I am still on the 'trial run' phase, so I'm open to opinions.

Alright! This Degeneration Log definitely ran longer than it should, but that's because it doubled as discussion on the side-story content stuff. I must now return to the shadows and craft smut.
