Shift And Roam Prototype 5

Prototype 5; fixes, some tweaks and some minor additions.
Changelog:
+ Fixed potential exchange always replacing the second character's combat power, instead of the chosen stat
+ Traveller hunter groups will now give up on targets if they don't catch them for a few hours and the target is some distance away (this will generally only affect the player group)
+ Tweaked image matching; hopefully there's no (or less) cases where no match is found
+ Fixed traveller hunter groups accumulating tons of items
+ Fixed trade caravans being tracked by towns even after they've finished travelling or have been destroyed (was causing save file bloating)
-> Existing saves will have caravan tracking refreshed
+ Fixed the player character image not changing when randomise is pressed on the new game screen
+ It's now always possible to turn someone into a bimbo
+ Added a basic intro popup
+ Hid battle log messages that don't involve the player (for now)
+ Fixed cases where a visible change doesn't occur (no portrait change) being logged as tfs while held captive
+ Apperance tfs are now more common when captured and during battle, and include changes to all appearance traits instead of just physique (a few are randomly selected each time)
+ Fixed battle tfs only affecting characters knocked out at the end of battles, instead of at any point during
+ Fixed battle exp only being given to characters who were conscious at the end of battles, instead of all those who fought
+ Made some messy and extensive changes to prevent some images not loading (particularly the player image after battles in which they are tf'd). This may have unusual side effects and need refinement
+ Hopefully fixed the player's capture state going a bit strange if the capturing group returns to a town (player group is released for now)
+ Hopefully fixed the player's capture state going a bit weird if the capturing group is destroyed by another (should transfer to the other group now)
+ Added a 'Human Potion' that can turn any non-human into a hapless human
+ Added a not-really-tf option to promote hapless humans to local humans at level 3
+ Fixed and tweaked a few minor ui things (e.g. names above groups/towns, movement line showing while in battle sometimes)
+ Fixed group positions not saving properly
+ Time now pauses when the player squad isn't moving; holding space allows passing of time (similar to Mount & Blade)
+ The day/night lighting effect was re-enabled
+ Autosave file writing and various checks are now done in a thread to avoid gameplay hitches on autosaves as much as possible (later it'll need a brief pause and popup for larger saves)

Shift And Roam Prototype 4

Prototype 4; various fixes and some tweaks/minor additions. Prototype wider release, so all platforms as well.
Changelog:
+ Fixed a crash causing battles to repeat if you defeat a group that has captives
+ Fixed character stats not being marked for an update after exchanging potentials
+ Fixed tfs triggered by potential exchanges on the target side not being logged
+ Increased level stat scaling
+ Fixed recruitment checking if you have space for captives instead of group members and not checking the current group member count
+ Fixed item buying not checking the weight limit including your current items
+ Made merchant caravans more frequent and more randomly timed
+ Added additional towns and spawn areas for lost travellers and traveller hunters. As part of this, traveller hunters won't select targets who are too far away from them
+ Sprite loading for character groups on the map is now asynchronous; this should prevent lags (especially at high speeds) when groups are spawned but should also cause a silhouette image to show briefly
+ Character image updates are now delayed until necessary (i.e. when displayed to the player); this should also help with lags but may have unexpected side effects
+ Added "Do Not Sell" for items and captives
+ Full form acclimatisation is now needed before transforming to most forms (those other than the starting tier forms/bimbos)

Shift And Roam Prototype 3

Prototype 3. Getting captured, a tf review view, trade caravans, doodads, various extra items, a fourth form tier (and amazon form), fixes and some minor bits.
Changelog:
+ Fixed loot and captives being permanently locked out if you don't get any from a battle
+ Fixed an issue with item looting that caused a sometimes silent crash when deciding not to keep items you already had
+ Fixed item weight warning not appearing
+ Fixed item panel next and previous page buttons not working
+ Fixed draws applying some defeat effects on the player's group
+ Added sell all buttons for items and captives
+ Non-player groups now vary in size, and traveller hunters will often have some experience
+ Increased the respawn rate of non-player groups
+ The player's group is now dragged around a bit after a defeat and further transformed (this can be freely escaped early for now if desired)
-> Transformations done to the player's group can be viewed by clicking on the log message
+ Characters that aren't taken after a battle and manually released captives now create remnant groups that head to nearby towns
+ Hunter groups 'miss' a few members of other hunter groups they engage, who become a remnant group (this doesn't affect the player for the prototype)
+ Added a charisma effect on buy and sell prices (other than cap upgrades and the magic <-> funds exchange)
+ Fixed core images for the added monstergirl races not being used (causing the no image image to show when it shouldn't)
+ Added extra items, including replacing the beam gun and blaster with melee weapons
+ Equipment items now roll a quality level when spawned, which influences their stats and value
+ Added auto-equip buttons to the group view and individual character view
+ Added potential exchanging. While in town, you can exchange potentials between one of your group members and a different group member or a captive
+ Added trade caravans that travel between towns. These can be traded with or attacked; defeating one will spawn a mercenary revenge group from the origin town
+ Fixed an issue causing battles to often end multiple times when time is sped up
+ Transformations that occur in battle or due to character changes are now added to the game log
+ Added a fourth form to each species, requiring level 10 and a special item
+ Added an amazon form as an upgrade to bimbos, only possible in the amazon grove and requiring level 5
+ Added some terrain doodads
+ Fixed battles not appearing after a load

Shift And Roam Prototype 2

Shift And Roam prototype 2. Fixes, items (equipment and loot), various monstergirl species, battles resolving over time, additional groups to fight, various smaller changes and additions.
Changelog:
+ Fixed recruit immediately button being available when a recruit is at 100% recruitment chance, and also fixed it being usable when at the command cap
+ Fixed appearance adjustment consuming funds rather than magic
+ Fixed bimbo -> bimbo being a tf option
+ Added in autosaving
+ Added a rename button to the view character screen
+ Staying put for longer than an hour now increases the healing rate of your group
+ Added items (buying, selling, looting, equipping, item weight cap and increasing it in town/via characters in party)
+ Towns now cycle recruits and items over time
+ Fixed experience going negative after levelling
+ Added the monstergirl species from Incarnasoul - goblins, kitsune, usagimimi, nekomimi and slimes
+ Fixed group members receiving form acclimatisation focus having the focus auto-removed (was meant to auto remove better treatment)
+ It's now possible to fire group members and release captives
+ Battles now auto resolve over time
+ It's now possible to retreat from a battle
+ Added traveller hunter groups; these are made up of a random mix of characters and will attack Lost Travellers or groups with captives (sometimes)
+ Made some changes to time tracking that will make saved times go weird

Shift And Roam Prototype 1

The first prototype of Shift And Roam! It's fairly simple at this stage, but you can move your squad around, do auto-resolved fights, level up, tf characters, recruit prisoners, exchanging prisoners in towns, recruit from towns, and there's images reused from Incarnasoul via shenanigans.
