Story Update! Also, commissions are open!

There are two stories available in the #subscriber-links channel on discord. One is from the 5th of September (Breeding the Oni Women [Inuyasha]), and the other was just posted today (Samus and the Slime [Metroid]).

I'll try to publicly post the one from September later today. I'll also try to post the newest one today, too, but no promises. Either way, you can check out the links in that channel if you wanna.

Again, sorry for the delays. I took a vacation in the middle of September, which was kinda neat. I mean, it wasn't my idea, really, but I'm not going to turn down a trip to Italy... sooo... that's where I was for a week. Lots of walking... so much walking... ugh... But, it was nice. I can't complain... aside from the amount of people that smoke on the tiny sidewalks of Venice... blargh...

And then I got home. There was apparently a tropical storm that came through and was kinda meh. And then there was another storm which was far less meh, and has been the bane of my internet connection ever since. Here's hoping It can remain stable for a full day for once...

Oh, and back to things you might actually care about. Commissions are open~

There's already a fair amount of people in the queue. I'll reach out to all of you again to see if you're interested/still able to commission me at this time. It's no biggie if you can't cause I know circumstances change, especially if you're in the SE US right now. I can still keep you in the queue, though. No problem.

Blargh. Life Updates.

I'm still alive. I've been kinda ill for about a week now. I developed a sinus infection, which you might think, like, "Oh, that sucks." It's not a regular sinus infection, though. The effected sinus presses against a nerve in a back molar, which then makes me miserable with radiating, throbbing pain. It sucks. It's happened to me ~3 times now, and each time is absolutely terrible.

Around Tuesday night I decided to get some of the fancy, "behind the pharmacy counter" medication, which worked pretty well. I wasn't happy, but I wasn't miserable anymore, so GG? But there was a tender, raised area on the side of the roof of my mouth, kinda near the tooth. "Oh fuck," right? So, I went to the dentist today and they were like, "I'unno. Here's a script for antibiotics and stuff. Also, that thing in your mouth isn't in the right spot to be associated with any kind of tooth infection. What is it? I dunno? Don't worry about it, I guess? Now, gtfo and go to the pharmacy."

So, today is my first day of antibiotics. I was good for a bit, but then the nausea hit me all at once. The good news is that my mouth feels better-ish. We'll see what happens over the next few days.

This all comes after the previous week where I learned my new MS meds are feasibly making my white blood cell count lower, which can feasibly make me more prone to infection, slow healing, etc. which would explain a lot that's been happening recently. There's been more than a few minor injuries I've taken, like little scrapes that barely broke the skin, that have turned to scars cause they healed so slowly. I just figured, "I'm getting older. I guess older people heal slower, right?" as if I was in my 80's or some shit...

It all kinda makes me like, >_>;;; ...Maybe I should switch up medicines? Like, yeah, I'm not killed by heat now, but I can get COVID easier? Also, I'm like the reverse-Wolverine in terms of healing, and the meds have a tendency to increase my blood pressure. Soooooooooooooooooo, is this really worth it in the end? At that point, as much as I hate it, I think I'd rather just deal with a weekly shot to the thigh again, and never being able to tolerate the scorching heat outside.

Anyway, I just wanted to give everyone a public update on my status. I still plan on getting these stories done soon-ish. This current one should have definitely been done last weekend, but I guess that's just part of the curse because I told the client I only had 2k left... And it has been the slowest 2k I've ever written. Plus, it's going to be a bit over anyway, so... yay me.

But, otherwise, I'm doing fine. Don't worry about me. I'm mostly just bitching about health stuff. Everyone has problems, so take good care of yourselves and stuff. <3

So, you know how I love to never update things because posting publicly is kind of annoying, right? Posting here is kind of the same thing. It's definitely not as easy as Patreon, which is kind of a bummer because I have to remember how to use SubscribeStar's markdown stuff... and then I always have to go back and edit a message cause I did something wrong with it...

Either way, I apologize for my radio silence.

As far as updates, I'm partially done with each of the 3 remaining commissions because I tried this weird, ADHD-as-fuck method where I decided to outline all 4 (at the time) before I started the first one. It is far less stressful now but it did set me back a little (which is why it's August now...). It's an odd trade-off, but I do like having a roadmap so I can immediately start the next comm without having to reset my brain. With a little more refinement, this could work well. We'll see how it goes.

In other news, I just realized I haven't had a poll in ages. I'll probably put one out soon. If you have any ideas that you want pitch as a suggestion then please let me know. :D

In other other news, I'm writing this message while a tropical storm swirls overhead, so that's neat. =P

Deliciously Self-Centered - Chapter 2 & Comms are open!

Deliciously Self-Centered - Chapter 2 is available, although it's only posted in the subscriber links channel in Discord at the moment.

"Wait, I thought you weren't doing early access anymore...?"

I'm technically not since I should have the story posted some time soon--like, in the next day or so. I don't consider a day or two as "early access." Currently, the backlog of things to publicly post is a bit daunting but there should be less of a lag in things for future releases once I get caught up.

Also, I went ahead and unpublished the Patreon page. There was no reason to keep it open any longer since I still needed to verify my identity, which I was never going to do. Plus, I remembered that Ko-Fi exists if some people might be a bit skittish of joining an adult site (for billing reasons and such). I don't have any perks set up for Ko-Fi at the moment, though, but I'll get around to that if people show any kind of interest.

And, since I'm caught up AND it's July, I guess that means comms are open. Not sure I'll take on too many, but my Discord DMs are open for any discussion! I know there's a few people that have already pitched some ideas, but please reach out to remind me if you're still interested.

I think that's it for updates. I've been outside less in the last week, which was nice--but it was only because it was raining a lot. Things seem to be winding down, though. It was definitely one of those situations where you volunteer to help, thinking the task is going to be super-easy, only to realize it's way more work than you thought. I'll be so glad when it's done... x_x;;;

First post in a while...

So, this is the first time posting here in a while. This particular post is mostly going to be life updates, though. And, I've left my Patreon page open for now, but I'll be turning that off eventually. Billing for that is still paused for July, too, just as a precaution in case I forget...

I've taken a lot of time off lately for various personal things that I've needed to do. And, as always, I've been extremely apt to help family and friends take on various projects. I've recently been doing some work for an elderly family member, which has taken up nearly all my time since my last released work (part 2 of Femboy Materia).

It has not been an easy task, considering it's mostly outdoor work... and it's like, constantly around 100-degrees. I've been good, though! I've remained hydrated, I take breaks, and all that good stuff. I even have a tan for the first time in years. I'm fairly close to being done, though, which is nice cause it's been a huge project.

The Plan Going Forward

I currently have one story still in the queue. It's partially done. I'm hoping to have it complete by Sunday (23rd), but you also realize I just jinxed it by saying that. Heisenberg would be proud...

I also still have plenty of stories to post publicly. I didn't forget about them. Notice how I released everything that was a continuation of an existing story first? Posting a chapter is easy. Posting a new story take far longer. I'll get to it... eventually...

I'll probably be opening commissions again toward the end of the month, if not just starting in July. After all, the IRL stuff I'm doing still isn't done... and I already thought I'd be done two weeks ago.

That's about it for now. I can't think of anything else relevant at the moment. Like, I can think of other things to talk about, but it would all be kind of random... I'll say it anyway, just to sate any curiosity, though...

I've been watching Dark Matter. It's a pretty neat show so far. I can't read, so I obviously know nothing of the book.

I also started The Acolyte and had low expectations considering all the hate, but I've enjoyed it so far. People need to chill out. I also ended up pausing the show and catching my SO up with some Night Sisters mythos for about 5 minutes, and why the flashback was so important. Which, the only reason I could do that was because I played Fallen Order/Survivor rather recently. I even managed to get a, "Legit, thank you, cause I had no idea wtf was going on..." xD

Anyway, other than that, I've just been sweating and dying in the heat for about 6 hours a day.

I've got one more story to finish up for September, but it's my Super Hot one, so it should be done pretty quickly since I've already got a lot of it finished.

With that, I can say commissions are open again. I already know there are a few of you in line for those spots. So, be sure to reach out to me if I haven't been in contact in a while. For those that may be new, I have a terrible memory and try to write everything down... which works pretty well... if I remember to write it down...

There's a few presumptive spots already taken, or in talks, such as the continuation of this Alleria story, a possible new story, and some other sequels. We'll see what happens.

I think that covers most of what I had to say. I finally finished Tears of the Kingdom the other day, which was nice. Did I do everything? Nope. But I did enough so that I was content after 200+ hours of ADHD exploration. =X
