 Hello. I'm The Naughty Captain and I'm creating erotic games for an adult audience.

Summer Scent is my first project.



It's the beginning of summer. Jack is 18 years old and has just finished high school by graduating.
He has a tense relationship with Eve, his childhood friend who seems to have disliked him cordially for a few years.
Jack's parents had left town for a week, Eve invites her best friend, Cassie, to join them.
They have the house and the pool for them alone.
How Jack will handle the situation depends on you.



The game is a visual novel. Your decisions will have consequences and will influence the story and its conclusion.
You will be able to change the name of the main characters.
Images are Full HD renders (1920x1080).



The game should be rather short but it will be an adequate size for a first experience. I hope you will enjoy it.

Latest version available to 5$ subscribers : Summer Scent V0.2.
It covers the story up to the end of Day 2. The plot thickens as Jack has to make his first decisive choices which leads to different developments with both girls.
Day 2 contains 234 renders and 3000 + lines of code and dialogue.

The latest free version available is Summer Scent V0.1.1.
It covers only the first day of the game.
Day one starts from noon, it's only half a day. Future updates should be roughly twice the size of this first release.

 I'm already working on Day 3.
 
 I'm working with Renpy and Daz Studio. These tools are new to me but I'm working hard to master them. I'm confident I can improve myself and the quality of my game.
 
 Playing my game, you may find bugs and probably a lot of typos.
 Please, report these on my  discord channel so I can correct them quickly.
 
I'm not an english native speaker but I hope my writing isn't as horrendous as I think it is. Thank you in advance for your patience and your support.

What is done :
Scenes 1 to 7 are written, rendered and coded.
Scene 8 is written and coded, rendering is ongoing.
Scene 9 and 10 are almost written and the rendering should be easy. I think I can have them fully done by the end of the weekend.

For now, V0.3 contains 2000 lines of code and dialogue and 155 renders.

What remains to be done :
I still have 7 more scenes to add, 6 of them being "Conclusion scenes", one for each path, and I'm pretty sure that the posing will be complex and time-consuming.

Dev Update #9

Cassie strange skin and her damn shirt.

I've lost a lot of time on the renders for the fourth scene.
First, the lighting was bad and simply disgusting (as I should have expected from light bouncing on pink and red walls).
Second, I encountered some strange iray bugs that turned my skin shaders darker. I finally managed to find a solution but I'm still not 100% happy with the result.
And third, Cassie's new outfit is a pain in the ass. I can't render it correctly without disabling the denoiser. As a consequence, I had to triple rendering time in order to maintain a reasonably low amount of noise.

I can't afford to lose more time on this matter if I want to produce a consistent release for the 15th of November.
At least it wasn't totally worthless as I feel like I learned a couple things that will surely be useful in the future.

Scene 5 is written and coded, posing is almost done.
