Hello everyone 

Today I received some devesating news about my beloved dog, Quorra. 

Following suddenly developed seizures, multiple vet visits and then being referred to a specialist neurologist, an MRI scan revealed the worst. 

She has a brain tumour. 

Due to her age and its location and aggressive nature, surgery and/or chemotherapy will be a higher risk to her health and life. 

As a family we have opted for palliative care with medication to help her quality of life and pain until the day comes - however soon it may be - to stop her suffering before it becomes to much. 

I have had the joy of her in my life since she was 12 weeks old. She has helped me through the worst parts of my life, so I will be with her through the worst of hers. 

I am beside myself with grief and heartache. I can barely focus on anything and it’s destroying me to know she is in pain. 

I understand I have outstanding commissions and I’m still so behind on them, but please give me time and I’ll do my best to get back to you with updates and artwork when her medication (hopefully) begins to take affected over the next few days - unless further decisions need to be made for her wellbeing. 

I will be doing my best to continue taking on commission work as a means to cover her vet care and medication.
