April Update - Twist & click!

Hi guys, it’s time for a quick update on what I’ve been working on.
I’m very pleased to announce that I think I have an answer to one of the most common questions I get, which is how to properly secure the fleshlight into the twist receiver.

The answer is that for a lot of people it twists in and locks just fine, but the problem that’s plagued the twist from the beginning has been that not all fleshlights cases are created equal, and likewise not all 3D printers. This means that often enough the fit is too loose and rotation disengages the case, with unhappy consequences.

It’s been very tempting to look at all kinds of locking mechanisms with springs or bolts to try to stop the case from rotating out of the receiver. I’ve probably made more prototypes for this one piece than anything else. As it turns out the simplest solutions are always the best, and I think I’ve come up with a good one. This month I’m releasing a new single piece ring gear for the twist receiver that features an integrated locking clip, which seems to hold the case in place perfectly.

The gear ring works with both the OSR2 and SR6 twist receivers. Just swap this new part out for the previous one. It will also equally hold a fleshlight or a mod case, whichever you care to use.

Getting this bit of hardware released frees me up to concentrate on some software development, so stay tuned for an update on that later this month.
