MindWare RoadMap Is Now Published on the Official Website
With MindWare's Prologue now being mostly complete, I thought now would be a good time to share with you my plans for the game:
Since MindWare is my serious video game project, I've purposefully divided it into clearly defined sections that allow me to learn on the fly.
The first such section is the exposition-heavy introduction. When I was working on it, I barely knew how to move from passage to passage. Fortunately, my skills quickly improved, and I was able to start working on the game's Prologue. The development of the Prologue section taught me a lot of important lessons that I now want to apply when working on Chapter 1.
Chapter 1 will be significantly more challenging to develop than everything so far because AVA is now in the picture and with her multiple choices and multiple outcomes. But I look forward to the challenge because working on MindWare is a joy for me, and I hope that playing the game will be a joy for you.
