What’s this?
A long, ambitious labor of love. A kinetic novel made with Ren'py, where sex, mystery, fantasy, and feelings are constantly getting mixed up together.

It started as a joke years ago, when I first discovered The Klub 7.5 (yep, that ancient stuff). Suddenly, me — a comic book lover who’s absolutely hopeless at drawing — had a tool that could actually let me make stories. WoW! That’s how it began. Small sequences with no text. Then a first, longer project (which I’ll republish soon, since it acts as a prologue to Bring a Bottle of Wine). And then this one.
It kept growing like crazy — more characters, a more tangled plot. And then came the problems. I’m not a native English speaker, so I had to translate using early-stage translators, ask for help, rewrite things.
The Klub is a pretty clunky tool for making renders, far from user-friendly, but it’s all I’ve got. On the bright side, it taught me about framing shots. And how to keep scenes concise. Honestly, it’s a great teacher. Then I started using Daz3D, and the difference was night and day. But it wouldn’t be fair to compare them. The Klub was born as a game, while Daz is the standard for 3D rendering. Anyway, enough rambling.
The Bring a Bottle of Wine project came to a long halt. A really long halt. Meanwhile, I started using Daz more and more, made three comics, wrote other stories. But in a corner of my mind, this story kept coming back. The characters (current and future), the world behind them — they were just… there.
Thanks to advances in AI, I rewrote and re-translated everything that was wrong in the text. And while I was working on it, the urge to restart and finally finish this story (we’re close, really close) came flooding back.
Sure, I’ll have to finish it using The Klub for stylistic consistency. Sure, I’ll use AI to help where needed. But folks — I can’t wait to bring this ship to port.
