With 2023 coming to a close in less then an hour, I've reflected on the progress I made on Lilith Descent and despite some of the life changes I still wish there was just a bit more I could have accomplished, but all in all I have to admit I'm really happy with the milestones all the same.
I'm very thankful to all of you who've stopped by to support me and give me much needed feedback on the game that's gradually helped shape it into the game I envisioned at the outset.
My inspiration was and still is to create an H-game that can provide the same fun and entertainment as the H-games the originally introduced me to this space. Barring a few missing pieces, I can see the whole picture coming together now.
Let's get into the new test build following this post.
Valeria H-Battles and UI updates
So the main intention of this new build is to introduce and test Valeria's H-battles. Aside from her Lilith Scene, she can now be captured by The Wall-Duress, Goblins, Demons, Raiders and enter the baths.
Early this coming year I'll be working on Valeria and Brigit's Dithonion subjugation scenes for the next and last test version focused on the Dithonion. I plan to add Valeria's full skill tree and Swords to the Billet pool to round her out.
Another change you'll notice is the gameplay UI. It's not too different from what was already present but it now displays the character's Energy and Power and giving the game a more complete look. This new UI required me to go through the game and comb over multiple events to account for the change so definitely let me know if you notice any oddities.
Plans for 2024
So to summarize, my intention is to have Lilith Descent graphically and feature wise complete, before the year is through. For the most part the main systems are moving and working as I like but there's still a few things I'd like to finish such as Stalkers, brands and character initiated Sex skills.
I also have the story mostly laid out with a larger chunk planned for the full Version.C. I have the next characters in mind but I'll work on them after this Version is complete.
There's still the introduction of the Chest Duress Mimic and new Faction + H-scene after the last Dithonion Subjugation test is done, as well as updating the player character sprites to use 6 frames like the Dithonion instead of the 3 the most NPCs and objects will use, so I'll dedicate time to that first after Valeria and Brigit are setup to be captured.
Ultimately my main goal is to have these systems in place so I can then focus on adding new H-Battles and possibly playable characters later on.
Sharing some Art
I've got this terrible habit of just not posting my sketches and WIP drawings. I've mainly been hesitant because I don't want to give the wrong impressions but starting this year I'll try to share more freely. I start with some drawings I did this year for Lilith Descent.
I originally planned to include these two at some future point as Psionics and Ballistics/Crystal users respectively. The character with the dual pistols is another character from the mind of my buddy @Aureatepen.
The Psionic girl was going to introduce a more petite build to offer variety in the playable characters. As it stands now I still want to introduce them at some point.
More character design exercises, really the main thing I hope each playable character brings is a unique visual design archetype, explorer, Maid, scientist, superhero ect.
More player character designs and sketches, I think some of you might recognize Lumi from the intro in the game. (•ω• )
Some early sketches for two monsters in the new faction. Since this faction will have a unique H-battle scene separate from the existing factions, I experimented with more unique sizes and builds for the enemies, with a rough idea of what the character poses/restraints for the H-battle will be.
That about does it for this little art dump. To end off the year however I'd like to share one more piece of art that features the next planned characters and Floor Guardian. Sorry if this update was otherwise brief, I'm trying to beat the clock before 12AM in my time zone ^ ^

I'm deeply grateful to every single person who's paid any mind to my little game here. For me, this was my second year working on Lilith Descent and it's first year in the public space.
With a change in job and hopefully a positive year ahead, I'm looking very hopeful for this upcoming year regarding Lilith Descent and myself personally.
Thank you for this year of support and patience you've given me, it's something I intend to repay with my utmost effort. I'm almost ready for the next update release so you'll hear from me again soon, until then please enjoy ( the late ) art I've prepared!
