So! You're new to reading my material, and wondering what you're getting into. Here are some examples across the ratings spectrum, from E to NC-17, comedy to dark character studies.

All Audiences/E

Justified Fears

So, we have an alicorn who's terrified of ladybugs. We have an ancient enemy who literally are bugs. And, we have me, half-asleep and thinking "what if there was actually a good reason to be afraid?"

To Touch the Moon

Going way back, this story is probably one of my most popular over time. A sweet, quiet exploration of a character answering the simple question "why did you decide to ask me out?"

What You Do to Me

When I was just getting back into doing commissions, and finishing some M-rated projects, an old friend of mine asked me to write something featuring some classic Rarijack. The story that resulted is set mid-series, and I like to think sets things up well for what could happen from there, rather than focusing on what happened before.

Not All Audiences/T-rated

Yesterdays and Tomorrows

Once upon a time, I claimed that if you named any two characters in the same series, I could ship them. And so far, I've managed to do it whenever challenged! But this was probably the hardest one ever.

Mr. Cake and Fleetfoot, two characters who've never had a reason to interact at all.

But I think I did a pretty decent job of it.

Pernicious Problems of Pegasus Parentage

Set in the G5 universe, this story started forming in my head even before I was done watching it, and given the "no shame" theme of November's contest for one of the groups I'm in, I had to pump it out. And so, we end up with this, my latest published piece at the moment. (Content warning: Contains the suggestion that Pipp and Zipp have a relationship that sometimes includes other ponies, but also goes on just between the two of them - and Pipp yanking her Mom's chain like an expert.)

All the Time

This is one of my most personal stories on the site here, written as a study of Limestone Pie. She's had a few moments in the series that made my heart break for her, and that's what backed up the creation of this story - and the sequel that I'm poking at from time to time, which will be rather longer, and hopefully happier.

Adults Only/M

Breaking the Storm

This was the first story in an ongoing semi-series that feature Capper and Tempest Shadow, from the film, meeting up and starting a relationship through the Clocktower Society created by Manifest Harmony, who also did the cover art!

I have more stories in mind for them, but they're still on the back burner right now.

All Great Trix

An example of my commissioned work, and of one of my favorite triads in the series. Once again set in the Clocktower Society universe, Trixie puts on a thoroughly adults-only magic show with the help of her Master and Mistress. Part of the fun here was looking up information about the history of stage magic, and commonplace tricks, in order to structure the story similarly to a magic trick itself.

Also, I got to introduce Earl Grey, Trixie's pet teacup - when I realized that the ambulatory, barking teacup she created in All Bottled Up was still literally running around at the end of the episode, I just had to bring him back for a bit.

Last Call at the Big Reveal

Another example of my commissioned work, this story is an example of my work that's M-rated more for its subject matter than its content. The story refused to move in the more adult direction originally planned, but given it was specifically supposed to take place at a strip club, the M-rating was already pretty well guaranteed... but the abusive history between (adult!) Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon meant it was probably going there anyways. However it works out though, it ends with the promise that sometimes, even a terrible person or pony can learn from their past, and move on to make themselves better.

There you go! Nine stories of mine that are at least reasonably accessible without going anywhere *too* crazy. I have some material that gets a bit crazier, and warnings would come along with any of that, but hopefully this will give folks a good example of what sort of thing they can expect when I'm writing fiction.
