A quick update about DR

Hey guys. I've been quiet for a while and wanted to give you all a quick update on how I'm doing.

I was resting for the last couple of days due to food poisoning. I went to the hospital, drank a lot of pills, all the usual stuff. Anyway, I'm feeling better now and I want to get this update released. I've delayed it enough. I don't really like giving release dates, but my goal is to release it by the end of this month.

I've really underestimated the amount of lines DR had. It took way longer than I thought, but I hope with these changes it's going to be a better product that I can be truly proud of.

I'm excited to share it with y'all!

26# Devlog: Where's the update pal?

Where is it? It's cooking. Slow and not steady, at least for these last couple of days.

I know I mentioned a date for this month for the rewritten version of the game but guess what? Everything of course didn't work as planned.

A glass found itself in my eye and I had to deal with that, but even before that I was slacking off because I was feeling tired of editing bits of dialogue over and over. The more I worked on this rewrite, the more thing I wanted to change but with each change I had to adjust some other stuff, and now I'm in a mess where I don't know how to move forward. I mean, I know. But it's hard. And it's taking way longer than I expected.

But anyway, enough of me bitching about not being able to work. Let's talk about the progress! I've been busy with four different things. Depth's Revival's new chapter which still needs a lot of time to be complete cause my frame rate is standing around 10 for all the scenes I'm making.

I'm also working on the rewrite of the game. Finding music, editing scenes, adding some complete new images for the new story bits, and I'm also going to include three unique scenes that I've made for my $50 tier supporters featuring: Imogen x Jane, Kaylie x Cindy, Imogen x Lera. Thank you guys for letting me add these scenes to the game.

I also worked on Project: Pain created new characters, wrote and planned more stuff.

And finally I worked on Depth's Revival 2 which is still in very early stages of development, but I've planned out how's it going to play and oh boy! That game is going to be good.

And yeah, that's all I guess. I'm doing fine, my eye is good, and I'm hopeful for the future. Thank you all for supporting me!

25# Devlog: Let there be music... and more!

Hey-o everyone! I hope you're all having a wonderful day.

There's a new update coming for Depth's Revival, what a surprise! Right? It actually is, cause this is not our usual chapter update. I was fixing up the game on my free time for a couple of months now; finding music, fixing the broken dialogue and animations on early chapters and whatnot. 

It's almost ready, and I wanted to let you all know beforehand of the things that are going to change. Firstly, I rewrote most of the game to make it feel more natural and paced. The characters on early chapters didn't sound natural at all with the way they talked. Remember Mrs. Bell saying, "I'm yours forever and ever." right out of the blue? That sort of dialogue is more natural now and more in character for everyone.

I also went ahead and found some music to fit the game. Each girl now has their own theme playing during their scenes and a lot more songs to capture the mood of the scene.

I also fixed some bugs during Jane's and Imogen's scenes where the sex animation didn't play at all. I don't know how I didn't even notice it before, so I guess more animations?

I also plan on adding more stuff and fixes, but these are the headliners. If everything goes as planned the update should be ready this month, but we'll see how it goes.

 23# Devlog New Year New Plans

Hey guys! I hope you're all having a nice holiday.

A new year is about to begin and like most people I'm thinking about new plans, new life, new goals, new bullshit. Am I going to succeed, who knows? But it's always feel good to make a new plan.

Anyway, while I was thinking about my goals, I've realized I've been having that one goal inside my head for over 3 years now. Since I've started the development of my game, all I wanted was to reach $1000 a month. It felt an easy goal to reach back then, but now it seems impossible. I guess I'm not a good salesman or simply my product sucks, maybe both? If a thing is good, people will support it no matter what. That's how I look at this thing. And it seems Depth's Revival is not a good enough product. I thought it was, but I was wrong. But that doesn't mean I'm done with it. I've started a story, and I'll put an end to it.

I'm not really sure why I wrote all this. Maybe it's a way to motivate myself to push things further to become better? I hope so. I'll try and improve every aspect of my work and life. I'm not sure how's it going to turn out, but I'll try.

Anyway, that is all for this devlog.

21# Devlog

Hey everyone. Hope you're all okay.

I'm in a mixed mood as usual. One day is good, the other is fuckin' hell, but I'll be fine. Now let's talk about the game.

 To be honest, this update should've been ready at the start of this month, but I can't seem to work. I don't know what the fuck is wrong with me, and I'm sorry about it. I think I need a change in my life, but I can't even do that. I'm trying to take a break in hopes of feelin' better but nope. It doesn't help. 

It's been 3 months since the last update of Depth's Revival, and hopefully next month is going to be the release of the next one. The images are almost done, but I managed to fuck up some of them due to me forgetting to change the model of a girl. She was supposed to be pregnant, but wasn't, so I have to re-do all of them. After that, I have to finish my work on the remaining sex scenes and the update should be ready.

I'm also still working on my next game. I didn't set a limit for the first chapter, so the script is still going on, but I think it's all turning out real nice. It sure is going to be a different experience compared to DR.

20# Devlog for Depth's Revival

Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing fine.

I know it's been awhile since the last devlog I've been busy with both games and life, I couldn't find time to make one.

Now that I'm in a certain point on the next chapter, I wanted to make another one to keep you all updated. First, I want to tell you all about a thing that I've had on my mind for a while. It is about the size of the updates for the game. Like y'all know, I only increased the amount of content between chapters, each chapter had bigger content than the previous one. This is of course a good thing. You guys get more content and I can feel proud of my work, but there's also the financial side of this kind of updates. They took more time to make, which causes me to lose income between chapters. The longer it takes, the more I lose and now that I had to switch my game to SubscribeStar I lost even more income, almost half of it.

So in order to get back to where I was and grow more. I've decided on making frequent updates with shorter content. The end result will not change, but I'll get to show my game to more people, which in return bring me more income, or at least I hope so. And by short updates I don't mean a 100 images per update or anything like that, instead of 1000 images it'll be 400 or 500.

This also means the script of the next update is complete, and I'm hoping to be done with the images by the end of this month. My other project is also going well as well, I've finished working on the looks of the characters and will share them with you all in the near future.
