Heyo !!!
   Finally, as promised, here's a big public post detailling everything that's coming into the 0.12 version of Ballad of Outstanding Bimbo Sorcery. Sorry for the perpetual delay on this one, I had plenty of unplanned events popping on, changing my plans. But nothing bad, don't worry. Anyway, let's dive into it !

What's 0.12 about ?
   You probably know this answer if you've been checking my news and all, but let's say it again for everyone to know :
0.12 is bringing the long-awaited pregnancy mechanic to the game ! Of course, it's a really big mechanic, that require a lot of work, and not everything is already done.
For the moment, only Illonia can get pregnant, as she got herself more picture than all the other girls combined, it was already a huge chunk of the work.

   And even that is not fully completed, as only her talking pictures, and all of her actions during combat (base pose, attacks, anims) are done, not the scenes. So no, you won't see her big belly in the scene  for the moment, sorry, that'll be for 0.13. Same for birthing, that'll be for later, for now, she just magically get back to her basic shape.

   But the pregnancy system is functionnal, so she can get impregnated in any scene her pussy get pounded, and from any kind of creature. And I have a way to know who did it, to change some dialogues options, and later determine the look of the baby.

   Since showing Illonia pregnant meant redoing all of her pictures to fit this new look, I decided it was a good opportunity to give her more clothing options, to vary a bit. So when she's pregnant, she'll have another dress, specially made for pregnancy. And she'll also unlock a nice cow bikini that she can wear at all times.

   Coming along this pregnancy changes are two big repeatable scenes that can play at your base, with one being the way to get the cow bikini. Both of these scenes, as well as all the rest of the content of 0.12, will be unlocked after finishing the first story arc, that ended in 0.11. So if Illonia doesn't get pregnant immediatly, that's normal, you just haven't progressed in the story enough for the moment.

   0.12 also feature a new character, Margaret the minotaur alchemist. Not only she has the biggest pair of boobs of all the girls, but she also needs to be regularly milked, else they keep filling up, becoming even bigger ! Which means, a small repeatable scene. She's also a very talented alchemist, specialized in pregnancy control. She'll be selling a bunch of new potions related to Pregnancy.

   These potions will allow you to "permanently" change the girl's pregnancy chance (until another potion is consumed), from being completly sterile to having a 100% chance of getting pregnant. There's 5 of these potions, to have a chance that suit you best (knowing that the base pregnancy chance is 40%, as was voted by my supporters). You'll also be able to speed up the birth cycle, or just abort and remove that unwanted baby. So plenty of options around pregnancy, you'll ba able to have it work as you like !

And with that, we should have everything covered in this new update. It might seem a bit short, but redoing all the pictures and animations with Illonia was an insane amount of work. To give you an idea, the total number of pictures in the game went from 3700 in 0.11 to 6600 in 0.12 !
That's also why it took so long between the BETA and the full release, I had to redo all the anims, and it was a ton of work (around 80 new animations).
But hey, that's gonna be glorious !!!

What remains to be done ?
   Not much, thankfully ! All the pics and anims are done, and most of the gameplay is implemented and working, as people can attest after trying the BETA !
I need to implement all the new animations in the game, and make sure they're displaying the correct one. Coding like this is a bit boring and slow, but nothing too hard.

   I also need to do a sprite for Margaret, as I just made a placeholder for her in the BETA. I always like making sprites, even if I always end up wondering why I spend so much time on details you can't really see xD But hey, I guess that makes the game stand out a bit more ^^

    And lastly, there's the dreaded playtesting part. Everything seemed to go smoothly in the BETA, but I'll have to take a bit more time replaying it to be sure everything is working. With it will also come the usual of making the Android port, bringing new saves to the save folder for those who want it, and also updating the walkthrough.

   So in the end, still quite a few things to do, but nothing too big. I'm aiming to have the full release done at the end of the week. That means it'll be accessible to all of my 5$ and higher supporters. As always, it'll be accessible to the 2$ tier three days after it's done, and it'll go public one week after ! So overall, it's very close !!!

What's next ?
   Well, as always, this part is subject to change. I'm trying to balance the size of updates and the time between them, and also vary a bit the new content, but there's always new things to add, delays, and new ideas,  which makes this part obsolete in a few month. But here's my current plan :

   0.13 will be fully focused on updating all the scene featuring Illonia so you can see her in her full pregnant glory. I'm not sure how much work it'll be, but I hope it won't be too much. I also want to give her, and maybe the other girls, a nice status page, where you can see her look, and various stats about her, maybe some little details too. I also want to add another merchant character, selling some stories. I've commissioned quite a few lewd stories that comes along some pinup pics or set I did, and it would be nice to add this all in the game !
Overall, I envision this as a smaller update (famous last words), justy completing Illonia's pregnancy, and adding a few little things on the side.

   0.14 will be a small break in the pregnancy cycle. I'm glad to work on it, and it's gonna be a great addition to the game, but just redoing the same scene isn't the most exciting for me. So to change a bit, I'll focus this update on all the scenes that won the game scene poll. I'm super late on those, but adding them at the same time as a major gameplay feature has proven to be quite a lot. So I'll try to catch back as much as I can and put it in this update !

   0.15, we're back to pregnancy ! Time to add the system to all the others girls ! And with all the scenes brought in 0.14, they should have much more opportunities to get pregnant, so it'll be a good continuation, I feel.

   0.16 should be the end of the pregnancy cycle, bringing birth and kids management. I have plenty of ideas for that, and I'll see how far I go with it. I'll do polls and more post about all that when we get to it. But yeah, it's gonna be fun !

   And that concludes my overall plans for the moment. I'm still aiming at a release every 3 month approximately, so I'd like to be done with all of this in a year. But as always, plans change, I might add things, cut some, split updates in two, etc... But you get the vision I'm following ! It's gonna be a good year, filled with huge bellies and milky boobs !

Hello there !
   Well, I decided to change a few things in the tiers, so let me explain what's new. Oh yeah, I'll also share some news after that, but I'll go straight to the point, so no long intros of me rambling !

Tiers changes :
    So, at least six month have passed since I added a new tier, Bimbo Lover. The idea for it was to get people to share their idea of what could be nice for the pinups sets, and get people to vote on it. A fun opportunity for you to maybe get scene you'd like to see, and for me, some good ideas to exploit, and more income too.
   Overall, the result is a bit mixed, with people often not having really idea (but hey, thanks for going on the higher tier to support me !), and in the end, me not doing the sets, since I ended up focusing on the update. While the sets are fun, they take quite some time for me to make, and end up taking time that could be used to add content in the game.
    Because let's face it, that's why most of you are here, to support the game. And hey, it's my main project. And while the regular pinup pics are nice as collectibles, there's quite a lot of those, so adding more is not a priority.
   Another thing that felt a bit weird was the Perveted Hero tier. Originally made just for those who wanted to support me a bit more, it was now stuck under a higher tier that provided additionnal rewards, and felt a bit lackluster (once again, thanks to all who joined it to support me more !)

   Now that I've explained how I felt about this, here's what's new, bringing what I hope will be an improvement :

- The suggestions for the pinup of the month have been moved to the Perverted Hero (20$) tier. It will only be a picture, and not a whole set.
So each month, each person on that tier (and in the Bimbo Lover (40$) tier) can send me a suggestion of a scene featuring some of my characters that they'd like to see. All of that month's suggestions will be added to a big monthly Pinup Poll, where every paying tier will be able to vote. I'll do the winning option as the monthly Pinup Pic, which will later be added as a art piece in the game.

- The Bimbo Lover (40$) tier will now get a monthly game scene suggestion. So yeah, instead of making a random set of pic, might as well make a cool scene for the game !
Like the I said in the previous point, each month you can send me the suggestion for one scene to be added in the game. Each suggestions of the month will be added in a Game Scene Poll, where people with the Warrior (5$) tier and higher can vote. The winner will be added into the next update !
   IMPORTANT : I have the right to refuse your suggestion, and ask you for another. I'm not here  to control everything, but there might be some things that are not fitting my universe, or maybe just some kinks that aren't for me. But we can talk about your ideas, I try to be always open for it !
   Also, I removed the limitation of people in that tier. We'll see how it goes but I want the option to be open to everyone, and not have newcomers blocked out of the option because there's people already taking the slots ! The more, the merrier !

-Weighted votes.
As an additionnal reward for the higher tier (and also a way to incentivize people to join them ^^), your votes will now have more weight. I tried to still make it fair so lower tiers don't have any power on the vote. The voting powers are as follow :
   -Peasant (2$) : x1, but they can only vote in the Pinup Polls, the don't have access to the other polls
   -Warrior (5$) : x1, they, and all the tiers above them, have access to all the polls
   -Eromancer (10$) : x2
   -Perveted Hero (20$) : x3
   -Bimbo Lover : (40$) : x4

   Because the Patreon and Sub don't really have the option implemented (or not as I like), I'll do separate polls for each tiers, so you'll only see the result of people in the same tier as you. So on one hand, you'll have to wait for me to tell you who's the winner (which was already the case with the split on the multiple sites though). But on the other hand, it'll avoid the winning bias, where the option leading early tends to win even more.

    And with that, we have all the new changes ! I hope you like these, I personally feel like they're a good mix with more rewards, more content for the game, more incentives to join the higher tiers, and without being too much more work for me.
The suggesstions for the pinup and scenes will start this month, so that the first polls can start next month.

Some other news :
   Let's talk a bit about other various things here. If you're not interested in it, you can skip, there's nothing really important on that part. Just Screw rambling about what he's doing, how his life is going, etc...

What I did in July :

   As I said after the release of 0.10, I wanted to take a bit of a break from the game, for some vacations, and work on something else a bit, to let me more time to think about what I'll add next, and also do something else for a bit. The first half of July have been basically holidays, with not much work on that front, except some promotion of the game and answering questions about it. And also opening coms. I also took a full week out, to go to a big event with friends, which was pretty cool. I came back with renewed motivation, and started working on coms.
   I spent the rest of the month, and also the start of august, working on commissions. I've done almost all of those, just one I should finish this week. I'm really happy with that batch, really feel like I've progressed in my art style. I'll be posting the results starting tommorrow. I've also realized that I spent much more time than planned on those, specially on models. I don't mind it, because I want to give he best result possible, and I'm not here to rush it. But that means I'll have to raise the prices on the next batches.

Plans for August :

   I'm gonna extend the break until the end of August, and come back to game development in September. I want to focus this month in learning Blender, which should help step up my art even more. I've talked a lot of times about it, but never really had much time to invest in it, so I'm kinda forcing myself to do it ^^ But the result should be worth it !!!
   And hey, it's still the summer vacations, so I'll also take the opportunity to go out and see friends as much as I can, because they have more free time. The horny spirit is still strong though, so I'll probably do some art here and there !
   I'm also taking the time to think of what to add to the game next. As you probably know, I've been talking about a big pool, giving options on what I'll focus on next ! Well, I'm gonna post it next week. So get ready for it !!!

Didn't you had another ongoing project ?

   Yeah, the project with Serge3Dx. If you missed the infos, I was hired by a big 3d artist to help them make a NSFW game, him doing the art part, and myself on the game development. Well, basically when I decided to talk to you about it, he stopped sending me any news or direction for me to do. I've asked him about it, and he lost interest in the project, apparently not motivated to do art for it. He would only come back to this project as a creative director, with a full team under him. So yeah, project is dead for now. It's sad, could have been something really cool. Guess it means more time for me to focus on my own project. RIP game project, you had some potential.

And you, Screw, how are you doing ?

   Honestly, I'm feeling great. I feel like I'm doing a Thirties crisis a few years in advances, but hey, not complaining in the end. I try to eat better food with a more balanced diet, go out more often, and often clean my place, so it's not a big pile of mess. Hell, I even started going to the gym (fun fact, I go to it with another NSFW artist, who happens to live 5min away form my place and have become a good friend). I've got a ton of motivation to make lewds, and I'm working on all the paperwork to officially declare myself as an artist (which means more taxes, but not live in fear of someone from the taxes knocking on my door).
   One of my best friend, who helped me a lot in making the game, have been in some horrendous medical situations those last months, but he seems like he's starting to see the end of it, and I hope we'll soon be able to talk again. We've got a lot to catch up, and talk about the future.
   So yeah, plenty of things going on the right way, and the future doesn't look to bad.

TL,DR : The pinup suggestions have been moved to the 20$ tier, the 40$ can now make a monthly suggestions about a game scene, which will be voted. The polls are now weighted, the higher your tier, the more power you have. I'm taking a break from game development until september, worked on coms and now diving into Blender. Big pool for game direction next week. And I'm doing really good.

Hello there !
   It's been some time ! Once again, that's on me. Lately, I've been doing good work and progress, but I've been pretty bad with communicating it. Also while I like the progress, I don't think it can be considered as really fast. The scenes and animations I make are getting always more ambitious, and take longer to make. But hey, I love the result, so it's worth the time investement I'd say !

   I have many things to say here, some might interest you, some might not, so I'll try to split it in various points, so you can easily go to which subject interest you. There's quite a lot of summary of the previous posts, but also some news. Hope you're excited about all that !!!

About the 0.10 of BoOBS :

   Yeah, might as well start by the news you're interested the most about. Last week I said I'd have the BETA this week, but I gravely underestimated the time the last one anim would take to do. So I'll delay the BETA, but just slightly, to be there around the middle of next week.
I initally planned to release whatever the state, since it's been too long, but since there's only one scene missing in it, I'd rather delay a bit and have the most important parts in it (specially since stuff I add after the BETA are the one that are often bugged, because no one else playtested it beforehand). So yeah, for you Eromancer and higher Tiers, keep your eyes peeled for the BETA next week. Promise ! (unless you know, something horribly bad happens, but let's hope not).

But what's exactly in 0.10 :

-3 brand new bed scenes to fit Illonia's new body. Those were the ones you could have when interacting with the bed in your tent. They weren't up to date, featuring Illonia's old model, and some pretty janky animations. These will be quite an improvment.

-2 brand new defeat scene to fit Illonia's new body. Those happen when you loose against the goblin, and the Male Bandit. Same as the previous, they weren't up to date, and those are brand new (and much more spicier) scenes.

-A reworked threesome scene, with Lothar, Illonia and Eris. Once again to fit Illonia's new body. This time, since I really enjoyed the base scene, I just took the old one (I always keep my saves), replaced Illonia's model and added proper animations. But it was way more exhausting than planned, and took quite some time to make (while also being less interesting since there's nothing really new to make). But the result is really cool and massive (3 different anims in the same scene). And with that, all the game content should be updated with Illonia's new body ! One good thing done !

-A new scene with each of the new characters duo, being Skadis & Bambi, or Doggob & Gobdog. When I added them in 0.09, I didn't had the time to give them proper scenes, it is now done. You'll have those play when asking them to get their paper, as an option to leave Illonia with them. And if you already have it, don't worry, you can still tell them that Illonia would want to have fun with them, and you'll get the scene ! So those are fully repeatable !

-Some quality of life improvments : when loading a save, you'll get a short popup screen that'll quickly tell you where you are in the main story, and what you need to do next, to refresh your memories. Also the allegiance system with the faction should now be much clearer, introducing ranks to give you an idea of how it'll influence your game (instead of just the numbers, which on their own, were too confusing).

   About Ursula, I intially planned to give her a big scene in that update too, but since people voted to redesign her, I didn't wanted to make a scene that I'd had to remake in the next update. So I'll delay it a bit more, for when I'll tackle it at once.
I also wanted to say that I'm really proud of the scenes that are coming in this update. I've tried new things, being more interesting camera angles or pretty spicy poses, and I feel like it's been working really well, and I've overall progressed as an artist. Specially the lastest animation I finished yesteraday, featuring Illonia, Skadis and Bambi. It took a while to make, but man, this is the best animation I've ever done !

Well, you'll tell me what you think when you'll be able to play it !
As I said, the BETA will be next week, so you can expect the full release this month. Once again, I've taken much longer than I initially planned, and thanks a lot for your patience and support. I hope it'll be worth the wait !

A second project ?

   Alright, I know this title should bring a lot of attention to this part, so let's explain it right aways : I've been hired as a dev by a big artist to work with them on a RPGM game.
   Let me start to reassure you : It's only part-time, so it doesn't mean I'll completly stop working on my own project. Definitively not. But it was a big opprtunity for me, to get some extra income that will really help, have the opportunity to explore other gameplay ideas, and get more familiarized with RPGM and also work with a big artist, that will probably be able to help me get better with 3D, and offer quite a lot of visibility at some point.
   They came to me telling me they needed someone to develop their project, and it's the kind of opportunity you almost never get, and that you'll probably regret if declining it, so yeah, I jumped on the opportunity. While of course, still having in my conditions that I had my own project, and that I wanted to work on it too.
   I won't go into too much details about the game, because I don't know how much is public about it for the moment. As for who's that artist, if you like 3D art, and futa, you've probably heard about him, it's Serge3DX.    But yeah, it was an awesome opportunity, and I'm glad he asked me to work with him. I know some people would rather prefer that I fully work on my project, and I can completly feel that, but it's massively helping with income, and also will have a ton of other benefits for me in the long run. He's an excellent animator and 3D artist, and I'm sure I'll be able to progress with his advices, and that'll help with my own project.
   I wanted to be really honest with you about this though, because I know it's quite a big deal. I hope you'll understand my decision for that, and don't worry, I won't stop to work on the game because of it.

A break on the game after 0.10 :
   Well, that's a poor transition from what I've said before, right ?
Let me explain :

   When 0.10 is realeased, I will take a short break (one month or two) without working on the game. It doesn't mean I won't do anything art-related, I'll take the oppoertunity to really dive into Blender, as well as take commissions and thigns like that.
There is multiple reasons behind that :

-I need to change my mind a bit from BoOBS. It's a project I absolutly love, but lately, I've had quite a lack of motivation to work on it. I've been working on this project since 4 years now, and take me a lot of time. And doing too much of a same thing can be tiring in the long run. I guess that's why a lot of game devs are starting to work on new projects while their main one is still running. But I don't want to make another project, and leave the main one behind. I just need to change my mind a little, without pressure, knowing I'll be back on it when the time is right.

-Blender. I've been talking about it for a long time. And while I took a few days not long a go to make the base tutorial, I didn't go further, since I didn't had the time. With a real break and no real time constraint where I'm not telling myself "I need to be back at it as soon as possible", I'll be able to take the necessary time to learn it correctly.

-Planning. As you probably know, 0.11 and the next one are going to be massive updates pusing heavily in a direction you'll be able to vote. And I don't want to rush or poorly implement this part (like every part of the game though, of course), but since it's gonna be massive and span on mutiples updates, it's good to take some step back, think about it and how to make it work perfectly.

-Commissions and other side art. I've skipped quite a few pinup sets, and it's a shame, because I like working on those, but I really wanted to focus on the update. I also have a lot of people waiting for me to open commissions, and I've been delaying it (since I wanted to open after releasing 0.10). So yeah, other art to change a bit, it's always nice, and can push me try new things. And let's be honest, commissions help a ton with money, and it's always a very good argument for it.

   And don't worry, I'll quicly be back to the game, with renewed motivation, and a good idea on where to go. And this should be much better than just the usual breaks I take when I'm just to exhausted to keep on working...

   As just a few small info, I'm doing pretty good myself. I'm  starting to get into a good rythm between work, rest and boring things that needs to be done, like paperwork and things like that, while also taking care a bit of myself, going to do some sport everyday, to avoid staying too much inside in front of my PC all day. I'm still working on finding a perfect balance, but it's getting better and better. I've left a bit this side of the internet lately, and I've done a poor job with communication while working on all that, and it's now something I really need to get better on. But hey, this blog is already a step in the good direction !

   Well, I think that's all I had to share, which is quite a lot. I know that overall, this is not the most hype dev blog I could have done, with small delays, breaks and side projects, but hey, that's how it's going, and I think it's the best for the longer run.
