Few can fault the paerans for their enthusiasm and friendliness towards just about everyone they meet! But that's not to say their cheerful attitudes can't also be a bit... overwhelming, and often. Friendly hellos juuust a bit too close, oblivious big smiles giving a juuust a bit more of a view than they realize...

One last bonus piece to finish the month! Simple, straightforward; I always feel like I need to start off the year just right, and while it's probably unnecessary, it's still satisfying to do that little bit extra. (Plus I've been wanting to do something simple like this, an unintentional tease with just a big cheery smile...)

Penny's playtime (April Fools follow-up?)

A silly thought I had to make into a proper scene while it was still April :D The one LEGO model of mine that wasn't on display during April Fools, and now we know where it went... Mabel bringing a present back home for Penny to play with, of course~

Sadly no minifigures came along for the ride, so Penny can't play exactly like Mabel was, but they're the wrong scale for a bigger model like this anyway. I mean, so are Penny's tiny friends, but they probably won't be in there for too long...

Kuchi - birthday gulp

"K-Kuchi, wait- eehp! Kuchi I'm slipping, and it's not my birthday..."

Kuchi's affections are a difficult thing to escape from, especially once she's decided she wants to give you some of her love! Even for friends she is inclined to keep around instead of treating them to her usual swallow into an 'exaggerated hug', sometimes she just can't resist, or just gets a little carried away... Of course it's hard for her to exercise self control when she knows those friends she gulps will just come back a little later anyway!

Not belated this year! A "quick" birthday project for myself, finished in... more or less one day. (I had posed Kuchi like this a couple months ago and ended up not using it, so part of the work was done for me when I decided to pick it up again today.) I've been doing a lot of Kuchi pictures lately, but I can't help it, she's one of my favorites and was just a perfect fit for a self-indulgent project like this. As is her lil' prey for today, May, a permanently tiny character who's probably due for a proper introduction soon! Sometime after Kuchi's done with her, of course...
