📝 QUICK Update about Upcoming Drive!! (late May)

SO! I have decided to make either next Tuesday or next Wednesday the start of my newest upcoming Fat Drive! That means that THIS will be your 1-week early reminder to get you all prepared.

Not spoiling who my next "victim" will be, so I'll give you a hint: it involved a tsundere character that I haven't drawn in quite a while. I know y'all are gonna LOVE what's in store for this one! SHE is gonna need all the love she can get. and I want it to last 5 weeks this time, no?

📝 SPRING MADNESS [UPDATE!!] Work, Drive, etc.

All right, everyfur, scalie, avian, horse, whatevers. Forgive me for the lack of activity, so let’s get the important stuff outta the way first, shall we?

First and foremost, amidst the struggle to budget properly, paying off debt slowly, and seeing if I can be hired by my nearest drugstore, I NOW have a couple of debt collectors on my tail (how fun….). At this point, I can forget about that fursuit I wanted this year (and possibly next year, too) … unless something SUPER DUPER DRAMATIC happens! Anyway, fingers crossed about this job thing. Otherwise, it’s back to the drawing board. Speaking of….

I feel awful about my rather sporadic activity in between overdue commissions and new things I wanted to accomplish for these communities. Now a bit of stupid news: for some reason, Ko-Fi decided to shut down my page because it contained “fetish” content. So I read the terms and complied and did what I could so that it would be permissible, and I even contacted them numerous times, but they just won’t budge on this decision. So there goes THAT method of payment…. BUT, I still have my Patreon and SubscribeStar. Also, I’ve heard about this site called Buy Me A Coffee. Is that a good alternative? Let me know.

On the topic of art: I’m currently EYEING on holding my next Fat Drive soon. I’m hoping to start either 2 Saturdays from now (27th) or on Wed the 31st. What do YOU think? Plus, I think it’s time to fill up one character that I wanted to do for quite a while…. Find out, all.

That’s right! Another year, another reason to celebrate life… and balloons! As of this morning, I, Rupert Avgustin Todd von Ferguson I (or just Rupert, if you wish), am now in my late 20’s! And they say “age is only a number”…. Bruh. XD

📝 ONE MORE WEEK B4 BIRFDAY! + COMMISH UPDATE + MONEY...

Yo fuzz heads! At the time of this notice, it’ll be about 7 DAYS before your boi TURNS 28 YEARS OLD! That’s right. That’s still young in my book, but I’m not getting any younger! Confetti and BALLOONS, anyone? 😏

Now for something a LITTLE more serious. Not necessarily bad, but it’s just something that’s needed to take note of: For a while now, I’ve been debating on how to approach my own financial goal moving forward, as well as in the event that I may have to kiss my Social Security goodbye (I’m NOT say that’s what’s going to happen right now, though). With that, and with another money talk from my folks, to cover EVERYTHING I have and need, in these fandoms and otherwise: I have chosen to settle on a personal money and utility spending goal to about $300 at most. Yep. Let it be by commissions or another donation drive (which is once again TBA). Again, this is what I hope to achieve not temporarily, but moving forward. What do ya think?

BUT Commissions alone may not be enough. On many other measure, I could argue that taking Commissions here maybe a full-time job. And given what’s going on in the IRL world right now, it might as well be. As I mentioned before, I’ve put up my SubscribeStar page to go with my Patreon page, if you wanna check those out. I’m still adding on to the former as I speak.
