Andromeda 0.5 Briefing 7

Time for the first Briefing of 2023.

First up, getting this out a bit late, I have been fairly busy the past week and a half in particular because I finally know when I will be making that move that I have mentioned in the past, fairly certain I've mentioned it(?). So that move will be happening at the end of February, and so this past week and half I have been busy spending quite a bit of time trying to pack up the smaller items that I don't need immediate access to within the next few weeks.

But for what work has been done since the last briefing, I have gotten 100 lines of code done, not quite has set it and forget it like the renders so not as much work completed there. But speaking of the renders, all renders done were for the remaster, I redid 56 images, as well as two and a third animations, with each of these animations being between 190-230 frames total. The two animations that have been completed were done a lot faster then when I had to render them on my CPU prior to getting an NVIDIA GPU, they previously took close to two weeks, and now only took a little over a week, taking into account that sometimes I had to stop the renders so I could use my PC for other things.

As mentioned in the previous briefing I said that I was considering releasing this update in parts due to how long it is taking. I have decided that I am going to do that, not sure how many parts it will be, but I am going to continue working on the dialogue until I feel I am at a good stopping point, work on finishing up the remaster (it is so close to being done*), after which I will begin work on the new renders.

Sorry no images this time, just trying to get this out before the clock ticks over to February where I am.

*I have the other two-thirds of the animation I mentioned previously, two other renders that are only about 50 frames, and then another 58 images, so at the current rate I expect the remaster to be done by the end of February.
