Andromeda 0.5 Briefing 6


Welcome to the last briefing for 2022. This month was quite a bit better then previous months. I managed about 200 lines, reminder that when I say lines I don't mean just dialogue and that lines includes variables and logic statements as well. As of posting this I have completed 57 more remaster renders finishing the remaster for Chapter 4, and started working on Chapter 4.5. I also have some more renders currently queued in the background so by the time the year is done I should have between 60-70 renders done depending on how long each of the queued ones take so could end up being more then that.

Because this update has taken as long as it has, I am considering releasing it in parts like I did with 4 and 4.5. But I have not yet made a decision on that, and will likely decide by the next briefing. If I do end up deciding to go that route, then I will work on the script until I reach a good stopping point and pause work on the remaster renders to begin working on the renders for this update. Once those renders are done, then that first part of the update will be released.

I also want to make you all aware that I have what should be the last major shakeup in my personal life that will interfere with development, at least for a while, and that is that I am going to be moving in early 2023, I don't have an exact date on when the move itself will begin and when I will have finished moving. Closing for the new place is expected to be in mid-January, then I have somethings I want to get finished after closing before I actually move in, so I probably won't actually start moving in until mid-February at a guess.
