I've been radio silent quite a bit lately, and it's mainly due to prepping for Halloween as well as the Major Studio Release. After quite a long time both are just about ready. I have one more animation to finish for Halloween and then I can start on final lighting and VR settings for the Major Studio Release.
For Halloween we'll have 7 videos this year. Halloween releases will begin on the 26th next week and release every day to November 1st. It's been a crazy amount of work getting these set up, but it's been very rewarding. We'll have releases from SFMPOV, Beastly Joe, SaveAss, Lazy Procrastinator, Jeckylll, Kaeg, and Shmopla. It's going to be a real treat (no tricks, I promise).
Once we've released our Halloween videos I'll begin final touches on our last Major Studio Releases, and then we'll be switching over to VRAR's. I'm very excited to take this next step, as we're all looking forward to make your requests happen and get to regular workflow. Myself and some other staff members have agreed that the MSR's take too long and become stagnant between artists, and this change will ensure faster releases with YOUR chosen characters. I will miss the polls we used to do, but this will be a happy compromise for everyone.
I'm really enjoying working with Cunnimatrix on these female point of view videos. There will be more to come in the future as we solidify our work flow together. As she becomes faster and more acquainted with Blender, we'll kick out more and more videos.
