Episode 8 - Progress Report #3

Hey everyone
This week I finally released Eruption Imminent - Season 1 on Steam! This was my first ever Steam release, so there were lots of unknowns and question marks as I got into this. But it all went well!
The release went smoothly, with no major bugs or technical issues to report. I already put up a small fix for one gallery scene, but so far that's the only thing that needed addressing.
All in all I'd say it was a great success 🥳. It was hard for me to predict any numbers here, but I am very pleased with the sales so far. I'm also very happy to report such a positive reception 😊.
So a big thank you to everyone who bought the game on Steam! And welcome to the new people who found their way here because of it 🙂.

In regards to Episode 8, I don't have a lot to report this week. I managed to write a few more scenes, and I'm currently writing the last in-game day. Now that things have calmed down after the Steam release, I should be able to focus a bit better and make some progress. I want to finish the first draft soon, and then take some time to review the whole episode before I move on to the visuals. My goal is to finish all writing in the next two weeks.
And since the question literally pops up multiple times a day now: The release date of Episode 8 is still up in the air. You can expect it sometime between December and February.
