May's Newsletter
Hello, everyone!
Late newsletter, but one filled with love (and degeneracy) nonetheless.
I have been madly cooking up Usurpman-spiced smut. But, for now, let us QWOP our way down May's newsletter.
Trips.
A Memefied Summary Of April
SURPRISE!
Yes, this section is empty. I figured I'd see how it feels/looks like to put the memes at the end instead. So, scroll down for those.
We'll see if I stick to that next time around.
Final Reminder: The Merchant Of Degeneracy Tier Is Dead
I've made a few posts announcing that the Merchant Of Degeneracy tier has been violently executed due to Prompt Polls being on hold. You can read more about it in this post. Let it be known that this is my final reminder about it. If you are on this tier, you should probably downgrade your subscription.
Character Popularity Poll Results
Did YOU vote in April's Character Popularity Poll?
I didn't. Because I can't. Subscribestar won't let me vote on my own polls. But many of YOU did! So, let us have a look at this edition's Top 5.
1. Ashley from Perverse Bonds
This one is only surprising because of who else was in the poll. I can't recall right now, but I believe Ashley also took first place the last time she was in a Character Popularity Poll, or at least got a ton of votes. Everyone loves a goth futa muscle mommy, and I do think her dynamic with Eva and Alexa makes her an even more compelling character to follow. That said, it's actually impressive that an OC got even more votes than Rias.
As I always say, I am happy to know you fellas enjoy my original characters. And it's a very wholesome story filled with wholesome bonds too! Please look forward to more mother-daughter pure love (and futa madness), not to mention the healthy relationship she has with Alexa - and who knows where we're going with Will?!
2. Rias from The Black King Piece
This character possesses INSTITUTIONAL POWER among smut circles. Rias is very damn popular, and it's easy to see why! With big fandom characters, it's always difficult to tell how much of the popularity has to do with the series itself or just the general fan love for the fandom and/or character itself. Nonetheless, I hope that her arc from half-assed cheating slut to self-assured cheating slut is of great enjoyment to all.
Of course, it doesn't exist in a vacuum. There is a massive, messy interplay of character dynamics developing at once in this series. My condolences to Future Me, and thank God for Obsidian to help me keep all that organized.

3. Kali from Hollow Strength
Kali was in the Hollow Strength Side-Story (Lesbian Tax Proposal) for only a bit, but she has stolen the hearts of the masses. Also, you guys probably just like MILFs too much. The good news is that so do I. Whenever Hollow Strength ultimately invades the Six Pool, we shall have plenty of Kali and her very motherly goals for Blake. I wonder how Elm fits into that? And Yang, of course.
4. Blackfire from Wally Pushes Hard
Did you like this particular portrayal of Blackfire? Or is it Blackfire's inherent popularity that carried her here? DC has so many variations of so many characters, but I believe most people envision the Blackfire they saw in the Teen Titans cartoon from 2003. The Blackfire of this series shares certain similarities with that one (especially visually), but she is very much her own character, as is Starfire and all the other characters in my interpretation of the universe.
She was definitely my favorite character to write in the first four chapters of Wally Pushes Hard, and you will definitely see more of her. I am a big fan of dynamic, asymmetrical storytelling, so this isn't the type of story where she goes to the background now that she's 'corrupted'. Her presence will disrupt the Titans amidst a hardcore sex, NTR, and corruption plot.
5. Stacy AND Aria from Stacy's Got The Wheel
I am amused and pleased by the fact these two tied in the poll (at least as of the moment of this post). They are both original characters and played a key role in the plot of this popular and now-concluded series of wholesome and humorous interracial NTR. Stacy's Got The Wheel doesn't exist without Stacy as we know her, but it also doesn't exist without Aria.
Have you been rizzed by their discombobulatory allegories? Probably not, as that sentence makes no sense.
With this series (brutally) slain, we probably won't be seeing them again soon, but I am glad that they got a proper send-off in a full finale and epilogue, and I hope you enjoyed it too. Nevertheless, let it be known that we can always see them again in future side-stories, whatever they may be.
AND THUS we have our top 5 picks for April 2026's edition of the Character Popularity Poll! An honorable mention goes to Akeno, so far behind Rias in popularity. I saw some degenerate compatriots talking about this in the comments, and all I have to say is: please don't tell her.
Six Pool Poll Result
We had two big polls this April! We already talked about the Character Popularity poll. Now, let us talk about the Six Pool Poll!
This one will have a new edition every time one of the Subscribestar-exclusive series in the Six Pool is brutally slain (the brutality is optional). As we all know, Stacy's Got The Wheel suffered a tragic, non-accidental, LONG death at the hands of about 100k words. With it gone, we had to select a new BBC-focused series to take its place.
The choices were between Secret Bond, Adding A BBC To The Family, and House Of Temptations. Unsurprisingly, Secret Bond won with a big lead. Considering the great number of Naruto commissions I've written over time, I am well aware that it is a very popular fandom around these parts.
I look forward to writing plenty of hardcore BBC degeneracy with Kushina and Hinata in Konoha. As for the other two series, worry not. I am eager to return to them as well. I shall keep doing my best to get to them as fast as I can (for what it's worth).
Commissions Open Until May 20th!
If you missed it, I have oppened for commissions until May 20th. You can read about it HERE. If you want to get a bizarre piece of smut written by Mr. Usurpman, now is your chance. I'll be going through everyone's requests after the 20th to decide which ones I ultimately take. So, for now, I am just gathering everyone's requests!
Degeneration Notice!
I haven't done a Degeneration Log in a while since I always find some space in other posts to provide updates on the stories I'm working on... and I'm doing it again! Allow me to inform you all on the degeneracy being crafted in the shadows.
- July's Prompt Poll winner got off to a pretty fast writing headstart, but then I had to pause it and really map out the overall story. If you do not recall the prompt, you can see it in the Degeneracy Pit HERE.
You see, as a general rule, I do a lot of mapping/outlining before I start writing, but I often start writing without having every detail on lock so I can get a feel for the characters/narrative/themes. Then I go back and revise, adjust, and add as needed, and so the madness goes. This prompt, however, is a trap for compulsive maximizers like me.
Mark arrives home several days after a lot of shit has gone down. This could be dealt with through vague-ish allusions of what might have transpired in the previous X days as the story focuses on the future. Or it could be dealt with the go-big-or-go-home approach of outlining the entire story of the previous X days in such detail that I could write it out as a complementary story of its own at this point.
Will Future Me do that? Ask him, I'm just giving you the updates on why the first draft hasn't come out yet. But that stuff is all dealt with now, so we're back to writing the 'present'.

- If you've checked the Workflow Central recently, you're also aware that I am writing the second side-story that got voted for a while back. Namely, the Like A Lamb To The Sexual Slaughter side-story. You can find the post about it HERE. Let it be known that this one was much simpler to outline and is already deep into writing. Look forward to a wholesome glimpse of Sheila and Glynda's fun trip in Hawaii, with a crossover from Neon. Yes, it takes place after the Hollow Strength side-story we had with Elm, Kali, Neon, and Kobalt. And yes, it is canon to both series. I actually don't know how many people are not aware of this, but these series are both set in the same universe.
- Finally, work on commissions will be starting very shortly. Look forward to sequels on your favorite commissions and, likely, some new ones too.
__________________________________________
Alright! This concludes May's newsletter. I must now return to writing pure insanity (and smut) in the shadows. I hope to have drafts out soon - probably the side-story first, but writing of the Prompt Poll winner is picking up now that I've sorted out all that outlining mess.
As always, thank you all for your continued support!

Hey just wondering but will you be adding the stories in you're collection's? If so I suggest putting them in collection's based on the series their from and not their own individual story set.
You mean the Subscribestar collections 'section'? I have been meaning to organize them there for a while now, but sort of forgot. Thank you for the reminder. i'll try to get it done once I've got a moment.
I like to see the MayMay's at the end. And since it's May, they'd be May MayMay's. :D
I have no idea what that's a reference to.
MayMay was one of the ways meme was pronounced
Is it too early to ask for an ETA for the first draft?
Which oen?
The Like A Lamb side-story is almost draft-ready at about 40-50%. The Prompt I am a little less sure. I almost have enough written for a draft, but I am now revising it. Lemme get back to this comment later today.
(It was about the prompt)
(I thought the side stories didn't have drafts. I thought the Hollow Strength one was released in one go)
On the prompt, let's see if I can't have a sizable draft by this weekend.
Also, on the side-story thing, the reason that one didn't have a draft was because I wrote the whole thing 'in one go'. I usually try to write as much as I can on a story before it starts feeling 'sloppy/messy', and then I revise it, fix it up, and feel like it's neat/tidy enough to get back to writing it. The drafts tends to be these 'checkpoints'. So it's more on a case-by-case basis than a rule.
Once the commission window closes will we (non-commissioners) hear which ones you've selected or will it just be a surprise?
I usually don't announce which ones I selected because I don't want to create awkward situations where the commissioners feel pressured by the public to do X or Y for their commissions, so I'm unsure.
I am open to thoughts if people have them.
Ah good point, I hadn't considered that.
Maybe they very vague info like "an teen titan story" so that we roughly know whats being written but not enough to influence the commissioner?
I'll consider it.
