Announcement: Commissions Reopening - May 2026


Hello, everyone!

The grand (and much delayed) day has arrived! I am officially reopening for commissions again.

See, I was hoping to have slain many more series before reopening. I also said on my last reopen that I hoped not to stay closed for so long ever again. Isn't life just a sequence of shattered hopes?

With that dark humor out of the way, let's move on to the wholesome degeneracy. I have updated my commissions doc to reflect this new reopen. TL;DR is that it's basically the same, just improved wording and updated price/dates. You can read HERE.

Below are the most important bits, but do read the document if you've never commissioned from me.
  • My rate this time around is 25 USD/1,000 words.
  • I will be open from the moment of this post to May 20th, 05:00 PM EST.
  • You can send me your request via e-mail, Twitter DMs, Subscribestar DMs, osmosis, or whatever else.
  • This is not a 'first come, first serve process'. As long as you send me your request within the period I am open, all is well. I will go through all of them only after May 20th and then select which ones I'll take. After that, I'll make a post here and on Twitter announcing that I'm done selecting commissions. If you weren't contacted by me, don't hate me. Hate the concept of time (and me).
  • I will be prioritizing sequel commissions, but do shoot your shot even if yours isn't a sequel. I don't know what my demand will look like, so I'm keeping an open mind.
  • You can send me multiple commission requests. If I do take your commission, it'll be only one, but you might as well try out all the ones you'd like. I'll tell you which ones I'm open to writing, and then you can choose your favorite.
  • If you want, you CAN commission sequel chapters for other people's commissions, provided the original commissioner accepts it. Then, you two can sort out whatever deal you think is best in terms of who directs the story.
  • If you want, you CAN commission a sequel chapter to an ongoing Subscribestar-exclusive series, but you should probably only do this if you're loaded and willing to have 0% control over the direction of the story.
  • I want to say I won't be closed for as long next time, but hey, the joke writes itself. Blame Future Me.
