Dev Diary #212: Lootboxes

Hello everyone. I've kept it as a little secret for a while, but I found the game formula to lack a certain Je ne sais quoi, so I decided to introduce lootboxes to the game. Through mega transactions of $99, you will be able to open the lootbox. As I know you are all excited for such awesome features, I figured I'd also give you the great loot table for the lootboxes:

- 10% chance to instantly win the game and getting the ending where you settle Mars with Mr. Ronzo
- 0.00000523% chance to become the lead developer
- 0.42% chance to finally own a mansion... in the metaverse
- 3.25% chance to gain a gallon of milk
- 1% chance to win a time share on a grain of sand
- 34% chance to fall in a dimension where my dev diaries are mostly pictures instead of text
-3.1415% chance to have a cake (It's a lie, you'll just get pie)
- Near 0% chance the save game will corrupt forever
- 15% chance for a box of Oreos and a Subway coupon
- 10,000,000,000% of a strange feeling of satisfaction from clicking the lootbox.

If by now, you are coming to me with pitchforks and torches out of sheer excitement, rest assured that all of the lootbox money is crucial for me to finally acheive my dream of making a good April's Fools joke on time instead of panicing as I try to find an idea for a week. Maybe I'll get a bingo set and write words on the balls to find an idea this way. Of course, it will be  3 storeys high, wouldn't have it any other way.

Now, in more serious terms, I've added the assets for the avatar for all of the larger sizes (Chubby, Fat, Obese), meaning the first phase of the avatar is now done. I've started a poll over on SubscribeStar to see what the supporters would like to see next and I'll keep you all updated about it in the coming weeks. This being said, this addition kinda threw me off the rails on the content, so I'll be trying my hardest to get at least one large event done by then. See you all next week!
