Amanda AI Test
I was playing around with stable diffusion tonight and decided to try out touching up one of my older pinups. Running AI on the entire pinup resulted in a lot of garbage, but when I ran it on each character individually and weighted it to keep most of my original image, I started to get some promising results.
Pretty much no matter what it would destroy small details like the nipple piercings and cuffs, but I found that I could mask out those areas and it was close enough to my original image that it blended fairly seamlessly. The biggest wins were in the faces, hair, and skin shading which showed significant improvements over the original images.
I'm not sure if this usage can scale, and there are still some things I think can be improved like facial expressions, but it was a pretty promising test so I thought I would share.

The Kayla’s look good, but don't sell yourself short on what you’re capable of without AI. You’re one of two 3d artists I’d ever sub to.
There is some really clever coding in AI tech which can’t be exactly mimicked freehand. And it works best from the best original material so I don’t think using AI is selling short. The best creatives are often the first to embrace new technology so I encourage it. Hawke is IMO the best, and anything that makes the art better is an incredible opportunity.
The big thing for me is that there were very few other artists doing this kind of stylized 3D art who I could look to for reference on how to improve. AI has a lot of limitations, but the exciting thing for me is that I finally have examples of art that I think are an improvement on my style that I can try to strive for.
is there a comlete comic to those images? saw them earlier and was thinking nice but where can i read the whole comic?
No comic, this was a private commission of a series of individual images.
just a follow up question do you still do individual images or was that a one time thing?
I shifted away from doing paid commissions to taking suggestions through the subscribestar gold tier for pinups instead. It's a lot cheaper for the people requesting and a wider fanbase can enjoy them. The main difference is it is my own interpretation of the request rather than than being quite as specific.
