Weekly WIP #49

•  Christmas 2023, featuring 17 of the girls from Dead or Alive. It's the only 'universe' that I have that many character models from. LoL or Overwatch might have tons, but I don't care for either and not even sure how many models are around for SFM of either. At any rate, these work fine. With so many different ones, I'm sure nearly everyone can find a girl in the lineup they like. I don't play the games and until working on this couldn't name more than maybe 5 of them. I personally have 6 I like, with 2 tied for favorite.

• From top left across, then down each row there are Helena, Hitomi, Kokoro, Lisa, Paichan, Rachel, Christie, Momiji, Marie Rose in the center, then the bottom half is Kasumi, Sayuri, Tamaki, Leifang, Nyotengu, Mila, Ayane and Tina.

• Don't let the amount of girls fool you though. They're not all getting a lot of focus. It's going to be very much divided around and several grouping shots. The only one that's 'special' is Marie Rose. She's on her own style of dais for it, and that was only because she was so small compared to the rest I felt she needed it. Otherwise she might be lost in the crowd.

• The girls are split into 'musical categories'; Reds, Greens, and Whites. (Color of Christmas Present Platforms to be shown soonish). Each category will have their respective machine moving to the specific section the song has for it. Example: White are the 'drums', so any of the parts you might find yourself tapping a foot too instinctively, the White group would be bounced.

• I'm still not sure exactly how to represent them all during the video though. I'm debating on two main ways, though I might think of another along the way. Doesn't affect it til it comes time to compile the video.

•  #1 Either changing the camera constantly from one to the next, but that might feel a little too spastic or rapid. You'd get a better view of a girl, but not as long, if that makes any sense.

•  #2 Very much the way this reveal picture is. Multi-screen it, though probably not all 17 shown at once. I like that idea more, and it would fit more with the 'music video' style, so it's probably the way. Then you can see the girl you prefer, and just watch her more, or rewatch to see the others. Or get eye strain trying to see them all at once.

• So yeah, Dead or Alive. No Gwen Tennyson. Hopefully you all like the choice of universe. I just grabbed all the girls I had for it. Sayuri, Tamaki and Marie Rose are slightly different than the others for rigging. All are by LordAardvark.
