Dev Diary #185: Writorama
Hello every! Hope everyone is enjoy the last days of summer (or winter!). I've been hard at work this week working on adding new content to the internship and I have to say I am really happy with how things are looking up right now. So what did I do this week?
Well, I first started working on the secret route, finishing the rewrites for the second week of content, which makes it far more intestesting than the old, rather plain way. I then built upon the rewrites and started work on a third week of content. Suffice to say that this update is definitely going to be the first of a serie of updates spread throughout the next months to catch up with the other programs.
Writing does take quite a lot of time and by juggling between two routes, I can't realistically write the whole month and a half of new content within a lone update, but I do think I can squeeze a week or two of new content total, maybe a bit more depending on my own schedule. The good news is that well, it's very code light, so the testing phase is going to be far shorter than other themed updates, so it is more time to add content.
Still, I didn't stop myself to that route and also added two days worth of content to the main route (and I might squeeze in a third before I drop the dev build).
All things considered, I'm very confident with my work on this update and I can't wait for all of you to be able to experience it. See you all next week with another progress update (ft. new clothing, maybe?)
