Things are finally starting to slow down between holidays, funerals, and general health issues.  The daily family visits turning to weekly or every other week.   More time to myself means I can genuinely start drawing again.   

The funerals were lovely, the wakes were cool.   My family, both sides it seems, appear to enjoy throwing parties, minus a body as we typically cremate.   It felt like we were having a Christmas party twice a week from Thanksgiving to New Years.  All mandatory, but still fun.  But it seems like most of the family's remaining retirees are returning home out of state.   The one staying with me left today.

I'm sorry I never got around to posting the last two pages, but we'll see about fixing that soon.

My plan is to return for a Zodiac Comic in March-April... and then determine if I'll be doing two or three more comics after that.   As promised, there will at least be a thirty days heads up, so I will make an announcement if I'm returning in March on January 29th.  OR, if I miss that deadline, then my return in April will be announced on March 1st.

Again, I want to make sure at least a month of my backlog is done.. and that my overdue work is done.   

I've also been writing some during my downtime, since drawing was out, so that will hopefully help fill out the next few comics I want to do this year.

Since June, I've had two funerals for family members.  Technically one, as we will not be able to hold official service until December for one of them.   It's kind of messed up and can't go into details.   Well, today, another family member has passed.   I told myself if another funeral, a severe personal medical emergency, or even a wedding, happens before 2026, I'm extending my break to at least February.  

I really wish it had been a wedding...

If page 7 is not done by Tuesday, I'll enter vacation mode early and release until done.  Will not start charging/releasing for Zodiac 4 until I'm at least halfway done with it.  And I will give you all a 30-day heads up, hopefully by January, before I reopen my SubscribeStar.

I didn't want to do this, but my family is devastated after three deaths in less than 6 months.  And I want to spend time with my remaining living relatives.

Discord is now available to Gold Supporters.  Iron and Silver Tier Supporters can still access it but will only see the public posts (stuff found on Fur Affinity, Deviant Art, Bluesky, etc.)

Silver Tier will get access in January or February... or when I'm sure it's functioning like it should.   If I get over 100 users before then, I may open Discord up to Silver Tier early.  

Discord is entirely optional and polling will only take place on SubscribeStar until further notice. This may change when I open the Discord.   A poll here will decide whether to switch polling from this platform to there.

Been going out of town back to back... and just got another scheduled right as I got back.   Mild family crisis, but it's not about me.  Just need to be there.  Can't take computer with me.   

Between these out of towns and my computer being on it's last legs, last two pages and pdf may be late.  But should be posted before the 30th of November.   I am expecting them to be only a day or two late at the latest.   Will likely post pdf same day as page 8 just in case.

The next two requests should still be done by as early as December.   

I highly recommend sticking around for the free month in December.  You will not be charged, obviously, but polls and requests will continue at no charge for that month.  There may be a second free month in January...

I may push back the next Zodiac comic to February again.  Just to deal with my personal stuff.  New computer shopping/family stuff.  But we'll see how fast pages go for the January comic when I start drawing it next week or the week after the first round of holidays.   After that, I'll evaluate the situation. 

The good news is, I've written summaries/scripts for at least five new comics for 2026.  And I just wrote a summary for a new 3-issue pig tf comic series that I'm particularly excited about that wasn't even on my list before.  I am thinking of adding it to the 2026 schedule.  I hope to release five comics again next year, if not at least four. 

I don't plan to go back into limbo and will attempt to avoid that at all costs.
