Today marks the one-year anniversary of us getting banned on Patreon and fully migrating here to SubscribeStar. Thank you all so much for supporting us through the transition and helping us stick it to them! Collectively, you're all contributing just about the same amount per month that we were making on the worse platform, which is pretty miraculous considering how SubscribeStar is a lot more restrictive on payment methods!
Despite our survival thanks to your generosity and flexibility, other creators in the DID/bondage space remain in jeopardy. Patreon bans more and more of us with every passing day, so those still on the platform can only hope that they won't be targeted next by the unfair community guidelines that were changed early last year and are effectively impossible to comply with. The trust and safety team enforces the rules seemingly at random, policing even off-site content, and most people's efforts to bargain with them are fruitless. If you support any artists through Patreon, please encourage them to switch to alternative platforms, such as SubscribeStar. Though the transition period could impose a difficult interruption to a creator's income, switching sooner rather than later could save them the headache of scrambling to start anew when the ban finally comes down.
It is my life's mission to see Patreon fail, and I hope to persuade as many people as possible to switch off the platform. Thank you for listening to my deranged rant about the company I hate.
