Almost...

I can barely believe it's been a whole ass year since v32, sorry guys... But!

v33 is nearly done, right now Quinn's new content is done, I'd like to do more but the gyaru girls have my attention at the moment. I have it on the PTR where people are testing it but since the gyaru trio scenes don't have text yet, blehghhhhhh

I hate past noodle for picking quinn and the anime canker sisters. If I ever see past noodle it's on sight, on sight!

The Quinn route A finale is basically four scenes in a trenchcoat, and all the attendants show up at the end for a pleasure torture session, it's so long I split it into three parts. I also added his B-route where you refuse to bring in anyone to his parlor, and instead have his own attendants do the breaking for you. You still unlock the challenge scenes against Ariel and Jamie and you also get a set of new scenes to go alongside them. It's a small blessing I can do these variants and think of them as new scenes, because damn, Quinn and the Gyaru Trio are some of the hardest characters I've ever had to write around image-wise, aside from maybe Ella.

I posted about it... Damn, all the way back in December! here: https://subscribestar.adult/posts/1564142 some of the scenes are unusable. But I've tried not to do too many edits as I don't want this to be an AI-centric game. Just uncensoring, maybe at some point small edits to replace the obviously male POV character with a more fem futa one. The most I could ever see is adding dicks onto characters for Justine, an idea I had planned on doing even before image AI was a thing, it just would have looked really bad lmao.

I did however get higher resolution images for the gyaru trio, their 718x418 jpgs were looking extra crunchy! They'll be included in the v33 download.

The gyaru trio have 8 new scenes, but they aren't done yet, they're just images, no text yet. To increase the possible scenes with them, I used shots from another Uo Denim set. They'll be donning disguises to increase their popularity! No, that doesn't make any sense, but neither do they so it cancels out and makes perfect sense! Probably.

It was rough cropping them all out of their downscaled cg from exhentai, I probably should just have used AI to clean the edges and make a more solid white background that I can more easily crop them out of like I do with Syrup Town, not much sense in me being stubborn :/

Sorry if it feels like this game got sidelined for the sake of my newer project, I don't want to leave HU fans behind! I do enjoy the freedom of syrup town a lot, but I think a lot of that has to do with being able to output so much thanks to the AI. I've always felt like I release too little content with my updates, that my scenes are too short, etc, which in turn makes it harder to let go and slip into a flow state. Then when I try to do anything mechanically complex or introduce a new character, things slow down even further and all I have to show are short text snippets. With syrup I can try out something neat in just a moment, or run large, bulk tasks in the background while I work on other things, it doesn't take nearly as much to stay engaged and have something to say I think is worth sharing.

I know syrup town and rainy dayz don't appeal to everyone, so hopefully I find some more pep in my step and think of new ideas to explore in future university updates, or make a new game with my newer engine that captures what you like about hentai university/anomaly vault/human alteration app.

As I mentioned Quinn's A route finish and B route are done, I want to come back and do a status quo with repeatable scenes especially since I have so many uncensored shots from his sets I haven't used yet, but the thought of taking even long has me sweating haha

I don't recommend making that your main way to play, since your save data could break as I make changes, but if you decide to give the game another full playthrough please let me know about any bugs you find! I already fixed a few lingering ones, like Gekka and Eva appearing on routes they shouldn't, and Saffron's completion message not appearing if you corrupt her too fast. For those awaiting a full release, all I need to do is finish those gyaru trio scenes. I'm... I'm so close... They're fun to write, really!

I wanted v33 to release quickly as I felt bad about spending so long on syrup, it was meant to take just two weeks and I'd develop HU and Syrup in tandem... I wish I had a better answer for why it took so long, I blame my brain!

After v33's release I'll definitely need to take a week break or so, I've been pushing myself pretty hard for what always feels like never enough. Even now as I'm writing these last gyaru scenes I'm think "man, y'know, maybe the parlor needs just... A little bit more... Just a few more scenes..." But thankfully I haven't been pushing myself so hard that I burn out. Thanks as always for everyone who's stuck around so far!

It's really funny, but also disheartening that all this time mainly focusing on HU and I barely have anything to say, but even with syrup on the absolute backburner I have a full backlog of things to say and post about. I've got height charts, female/taker pov images, femdom/lezdom stuff, lots of comparisons on syrup's older art style, a lot's waiting on me to finish v33, I won't give up! And I won't phone it in either!

As one final note, thank you, really. I really enjoy working on games and am grateful you've all stuck around so long. I was able to get the syurp town patron wing code working after some tired finagling, I wish I could do/offer more!
