So, 2025 is here. Surely, it can't be any worse than the last few years, can it? Or did I just jinx it?
Anyway, I hope this'll be a great year for all of you, and with the release of Season 2 a.k.a. Chapter 8 out of the way, I wanted to have talk a little about what's in store for this year.
So, first of all...
Chapter 8, and how this is supposed to be winding down.
Well, it Light of my Life still is winding down. With most of the dramatic developments now out of the way and done, there's not that much more story to tell. But the game did make a bunch of promises, and that's what the next part of it is all about. In season 2, I plan to do a series of shorter updates that each delivers one one of those promises while wrapping things up.
So that's season 2 in a nutshell: delivering promises and some fun moments, comparatively low on drama, have your cake and eat it.
So, what are those promises exactly?
I don't want to get into too much detail as to spoil it, but some promises involve both Macy and Denise, some Denise, there's a situation with Brooke, and there's the Coven that may or may not have some unfinished business left.
How, what, when and if is still to be determined for the most part, so my first priority now it to block out some of the details involving that and framing them into the short story arch that was set up in chapter 8, but I already have a pretty good idea of what the first one is I wanna tackle and how that will work out.
Then what?
Apart from that, I'm now also thinking quite seriously about the follow up for Light of my Life. In fact, I've already started doing some concepting.
Well, that's not entirely true, I do little concepts for all sorts of things now and again for my own amusement and relaxation (most of which never going anywhere), but this time it's towards some of the ideas that I've been playing around with.
Over the coming weeks and months I'm planning to share some of what I've been thinking of and putting together with the higher tier supporters, to get a bit of a feel of how some of those ideas land.
Step 1
So that leaves us with this plan for the immediate future: Every journey... I'll close those tasks up first, and we'll take it from there. As usual, you can track the progress weekly in the pinned post at the top of the page.
