Had To Delay The Release Date By 1 Day
The craziest thing happened today.ย
So I'd already finished creating the scenes for the latest update in Daz Studio and spent several hours/days rendering them. Once I started compiling and adding them to the game, I realized some of them were in 720p! ๐ฉย
My options were to leave it as is and launch the update today, or redo the ones that got messed up and delay the release by one day.ย
It would eat me up if I released it as is, so I decided to delay the release by one day so I can fix the issue. I've already started redoing the renders and it should be done in 9-10 hours, then I can finish composing the content for the next update.
Sorry for the delay.

Next Update (v0.5.2)
So, right after releasing v0.5.1, I was completely bedridden with a fever for a whole week, but thankfully I'm pretty much recovered now.
For the next updates, I aim to finish working on v0.5.2 by the 6th of July, followed by v0.5.3 on the 20th of July. Now that I'm situated in Subscribestar thanks to you guys, I can comfortably release 2 updates in one month again.

Dev Update (Jun 09, 2024)
Hey guys! Hope you're all doing good!
So, after 2 of the most excruciatingly long weeks of non-stop work, I finally finished creating all the renders for v0.5.1! ๐
"Excruciatingly long" because I spent so many days working on just one scene. I got really into it and made way more renders than I originally planned lol, now I have to update the dialogue to accommodate those new renders. Yay, more work!
I completely underestimated the complexity of the renders in v0.5.1. I actually, just now finished rendering the final images. So that means I still have to add the renders to the game and dialogue files, add emotes and music to said dialogues, make some changes to the map that will occur after a certain quest is completed, test and debug the new changes, and a whole bunch of other checkboxes.
My original plan was to release the new update today, but It goes without saying that I'll have to move it to June 15, which will give me plenty of time to make sure the update is completed and working properly.
