55th Weekly Report – December 2025

Hello friends,
A big milestone this week: the ALPHA build is ready, and testing has officially begun.
This is the phase where everything comes together — scenes, choices, and pacing — and where fine-tuning really starts.
I’m planning to release Chapter 15 before Christmas. That said, there might be a few scenes that won’t make it into the initial release if they’re not fully playable or polished in time. Those missing parts will be added later in January once everything is ready and stable.
Thanks to all my testers, which do a marvelous job!
Early feedback from testing will guide the final adjustments and bug fixes. Things are moving fast now, and it feels good to finally see this chapter in a playable state.

Thanks again for your patience and support — we’re very close.

Tonight’s night scene shows Kiara and Philipp in a deep conversation, where a new side of one of our favorite characters might just surprise you.

52nd Weekly Update – November 2025 

Dear friends,
I hope this message finds you all well.

The autumn season seems to bring not only colder days, but also new ideas and new advancements. After weeks of frustration, I finally managed to solve the ongoing issues with my graphics card — a BIOS flash turned out to be exactly what was needed. Stability is back, and so is my workflow.
Story-wise, we’ve entered uncertain territory… as today’s render already hints.
I can’t help but wonder what Anne and Philipp are talking about — and why the mood between them feels so delicate. Some conversations change everything.
As of today, I’ve reached 380 renders, and at this pace it looks like Chapter 15 will become one of the longest chapters so far — at least in terms of images. The story keeps expanding in directions even I didn’t fully expect.

As for the dev sessions: I’m planning to host at least one more before Christmas, so stay tuned — I’ll announce the exact date soon.

51st Weekly Update – November 2025 


Hello guys,
A quick mid-November update for you! Development is moving steadily, and I’ve now passed the mark of around 300 new renders for this chapter. The morning sequence of the protagonist is almost finished — just a few transitions and polish left — and I’m now shifting my focus toward the mid-day adventures.
This next section opens up new interactions, fresh choices, and a change of pace after the calmer morning mood. It’s always satisfying when a chapter starts to take on its full shape, and we’re definitely getting there.

Today’s render shows one of Philipp’s visitors… I wonder what he’s up to this time — and how Philipp’s sister will react to this new person.

Halloween Season Greeting – October 2025 🎃

Hello guys,
No regular weekly update this time — just a little Halloween greeting to all of you! 👻
It’s that time of year again when the nights grow longer, the air feels colder, and the shadows seem to whisper stories of their own.
While Family Vacation isn’t exactly a horror game, some of the choices you’ll face might still come back to haunt you. 😉
Development is moving steadily — I’ve now crossed the mark of over 200 new renders, and the story continues to progress nicely.
And here’s something special:
 I’ve decided to host a 1 to 2 hour live dev session on Sunday, November 2nd, at 19:00 CET ( 1:00 PM EDT) on my Discord channels Stream-Room!
👉 Testers and Platinum members will be able to join the voice chat and talk with me directly, while everyone else is warmly invited to join, watch, and share their thoughts in the text chat.
