No regular weekly update this time — just a little Halloween greeting to all of you! 👻

While Family Vacation isn’t exactly a horror game, some of the choices you’ll face might still come back to haunt you. 😉
Development is moving steadily — I’ve now crossed the mark of over 200 new renders, and the story continues to progress nicely.
And here’s something special:
I’ve decided to host a 1 to 2 hour live dev session on Sunday, November 2nd, at 19:00 CET ( 1:00 PM EDT) on my Discord channels Stream-Room!

49th Weekly Update – October 2025
Hello guys,
Another busy week behind me — about 150 new renders have been created since the last update! Most of the upcoming content will focus on Kiara and/or Franzi, and the first scenes of Chapter 15 are starting to take shape. The new setup is finally paying off — the upgraded graphics card runs smoother (most of the time 😅), and the renders are much faster than before.
I’ve also been thinking about doing something new — would you be interested in a live dev session, where I work on the game in real time and talk a bit about the creative process?
And another idea: would you like to read a short story about how Philipp and Tanisha first met? It would be in the same style as the Kiara/Philipp flashback, giving some nice background for their relationship in the main story.
Let me know what you think — I’d love to hear your opinions before I plan anything!

48th Weekly Update – October 2025
Hello guys,
After a long-needed vacation, I’m finally back at my desk and development has officially restarted! Sometimes you just need to step away for a bit to recharge — and it definitely worked. I spent some time in the mountains, and my head feels clear and ready to dive back into the story.
The plot for Chapter 15 is now almost complete, the conversations are about 50% done, and I’ve already started rendering new scenes with the upgraded graphics card. It’s running smoother now (mostly), and the results are looking great so far.
As a small teaser — the newest render features Kiara on a couch. What that might mean… I’ll let your imagination run wild for now. 😉

Chapter 14 Released
Hey everyone,
Chapter 14 is finally ready to be released — and I’m both excited and a bit worn out to share it with you.
This chapter has grown into one of the most dramatic and branching ones so far. I pushed hard on the family dynamics, the tough choices, and the moments where paths truly split. Philipp’s story especially takes some bold turns, and the MC is faced with decisions that could reshape everything.
What felt “settled” before might suddenly shift, and storylines that seemed clear now have new tension woven into them. It’s been a challenge to balance, but I think you’ll feel the payoff when you play.
General
- Chapter 14 has 703 new renders, 11 new Scenes
- Chapter 14 continues the drama and choices that have defined the story so far.
- New branching paths shape the future of each family member — decisions matter more than ever.
- Includes new renders, expanded conversations, and reworked story flow to reduce inconsistencies from earlier playthroughs.
Story & Content
- Philipp & MC now have extended morning routes and conversations, giving players more room to steer their paths.
- In this morning conversation: Added a brand-new flashback scene with a winter setting and location many of you have been waiting for.
- Leni and MC’s talk has become one of the most intense and defining moments so far — outcome open, but with lasting consequences.
- Expanded Lotta’s path with new scenes in Chapter 14 — watch her story develop in surprising ways.
- Anne and Philipp share a heartfelt, one-on-one conversation (or more) that deepens their relationship.
- New conflicts: A tense fight between Theo and Dominique at the beach, witnessed by Philipp.
- Dominique’s story goes beyond the surface, revealing new sides of her character.
- A daring new encounter: Philipp lures a certain transgender character to his vacation hom
- Philipp’s meeting with Max sets the stage for their relationship’s future — will it grow or fall apart?
- Philipp has to make sacrifices along the way. The question is yours: hold on to the old, or dive into the new?
Technical & Continuity
- Introduced new background variables starting in Chapter 8.
- These don’t affect your current save or Chapter 14.
- They mainly tidy up story flow and remove small inconsistencies from earlier chapters.
- It will reduce interference between the playthroughs.
