February 2026 progress report
Well hello there, hope you are having a wonderful evening. It's the 15th so that means it's time to talk about the progress of the update.
I’m mostly just rendering the animations at this point. Which is going fine, but slow. And doing miscellaneous stuff, like making new buttons, menu adjustments, fixing bugs basically anything that doesn't use too much processing power and I can do while rendering. I don’t think it’s necessary talking about these things nor I keep track of what I do, I just do what needs to be done, and that's it.
Since the January progress report, I also rendered out 158 new renders. Which means that this update currently has 1619 renders. But more are coming since there are plenty more renders waiting to be rendered out in the render que. This will be my biggest and prettiest update yet.
Size reduction
I have finished compressing all previous renders. It was a pain in the ass time consuming process but I’m finally done with it and the game is now pretty much half its size with barely noticeable quality loss wooooooo.
There’s no point to post the actual size right now, since the new animations are not coded into the game yet and there are still quite a few more renders that are needed to be programmed in it to the game too.
For those who don’t understand why it took me until the 4th update to do this, is because the goal was not to compress the game into a pixelated mess, (someone has done that already), but the goal was to find a way to compress it in a way that the image quality doesn’t suffer. + I was a bit stubborn about this lol.
Replay Gallery or room, because it’s a room in my game lol.
I have mentioned before that this update will implement the replay feature, and it's finally here. This is a part of a bigger progress tracking system, where you will be able to track collectables, unique items and a bunch of other shit like what sex scenes certain chapters contain etc. That menu is not finished yet, so I won’t show it at this time, and honestly this one isn't fully finished either since it requires me to stop rendering the animations in order to make the custom images it needs. It’s a bitch working with just one PC. Regardless, this will be fully implemented and functional when I release the update.
This menu unfortunately came with a price, it completely broke the script and I'm still fixing the many-many bugs that it created. xD but with that said, this replay room / gallery whatever you want to call for chapter 2a is working like a charm, now I just need to make the ones for the rest of chapters. Also, this menu is persistent which means all the scenes that you unlock will remain unlocked when you start a new game.
This is how my replay room / gallery will look, I decided not to just make a soulless, half-assed effortless default Ren’py menu but a unique one fitting my game. I wanted to go with DVD’s and a DVD player, but the DVD cases were just too thin for the buttons. So I decided to go with Cassettes, since this also makes sense with my game’s lore.

About the release date and me yapping like an idiot without thinking (as usual)
I fucked up. I hyped you guys up about the “November 2025” goal. That’s all it was, my personal bullshit goal and estimation that I pulled out of my ass a few days after I started working on this update without even fully reading the part of the script that contains Chapter 2c. I did this mostly because once again I thought it would be cute to hide a release date in a promotional render. It turned out that I have way more sex scenes, and there are way more places shown in CH2C than what I remembered lol. Yes, I forgot how much shit I wrote in it, because season one and all its chapters have been written before I even released the first version of my game.
Nothing bad has happened, the only thing that somewhat went wrong during this update cycle was that the hard drive where I keep my project files ran out of space and it took some time for a new one to get delivered, and because of it I couldn’t make new renders for about 20 days, but I could still render and do other things since I still had some space left. So, I don’t think that had much of an impact on development time. Everything is on track; the update is not delayed or anything because of XYZ thing, I’m not here to make excuses, I’m okay, I’m not depressed, I’m not burnt out, my dick still works, the cold hard truth is that the update is just too content rich so it takes a lot of time to get it finished with one PC and 3-5 hours of free time daily for me to work on it.
Will it be released before GTA 6? Or by Q1 2026? I have no clue. I made the mistake of giving a date that I pulled out of my ass again, which I won’t do anymore. Going forward I will shut the fuck up about my “eSTiMaTeD“ release dates since as long as this is just a hobby, and I’m not a full-time developer with multiple render Pc’s, I need to accept that there is no way that I can predict release dates and I need to shut the fuck up about them.
So, from now on, once the update is ready and fully playable without bugs glitches, that’s when I will start talking about release dates, and that will be in a form of a post with release dates for each subscriber tier. I won’t give estimates, I won’t hide possible release dates in promotional renders, I won’t reply to comments, messages about release dates and so on. This is all that changes, everything else is bidniss as usual.
I’m well aware that updates take way too long, and that I need to release updates in a more reasonable time frame, and I will do my best to try and release updates faster with the time and resources that I currently have.
Anyway, that’s it for this progress report, I’ve asked if you guys want to see sum tata’s, vagoon, and some “action” this progress report and you said yes, so there will be some extra NSFW renders posted for subscribers only. And no, the NSFW renders will not be posted publicly on reddit or twatter or anywhere else.
