Time for me to yapp again ^^ January 2026 Progress report
The workflow this month was a bit different, instead of the usual come home from work then make renders until I pass out, I was able to chill a bit, and then work on the game until I passed out xD. I worked through the holidays as planned and I got quite a lot done. This was a bit unusual for me, I tend to spend the holidays with friends drunk out of my mind, but this time I just sat on my ass at home working on the game and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would lol.
Animations
Since I finally had around 11 days off work, I was able to make quite a few animations but also, I kept trying different things, like animating hair and making the jiggle more realistic, in some animations I succeeded but in some I completely failed and ended up wasting a bunch of time for nothing xD. But that’s how developing and learning new things work, sometimes you succeed sometimes you don’t and then you feel like running into a wall out of frustration xD. I think you guys will be happy with the results. There are quite a few sex scenes this update.
Post processing
So, I post processed around 1128 renders, give or take a few. Post processing is pretty much opening EVERY damn render in Photoshop and adjusting the color of it a bit, tweaking lighting, fixing poke through and other render mistakes.
Coding
I have coded into the game 823 static renders so far. Not as many as I wanted to, but still a lot considering how many renders I post processed in one month among other things.
Size reduction
I know game size has been a problem for some of you, especially that this game will just keep having more and more content. I have talked about this in a previous progress report that I’ve been toying with different tools to reduce the game size. I have somewhat figured out a way of reducing the game size quite reasonably but it’s a pain in the ass time consuming process. Unfortunately, due to how my scenes are lit, I have to go through all my renders practically one by one and check them for pixelation after I compress the images. And if there’s pixelation I have to keep toying with the compressor’s settings until there isn’t any pixelation and I achieved the smallest image size with it as possible. So, it’s not that fun when you have 5585 renders total (without this update) Anyway, the good thing is, that moving forward my game size will be smaller with barely noticeable loss of image quality. I’ve maybe checked 2100 something images still a shit ton to go fuck my life xD
But with this said, don’t expect something crazy like 2-3gb of game size, this game has technically 4 chapters, and a ton of images and animations + music and sound effects.
Renders
Even though I was more focused on other aspects of the development I still managed to make a decent number of new renders since the last progress report. They are sitting in the render que waiting to be rendered out, but I'm not going to mention any numbers until I render them out.
That’s it for this progress report, there’s still a whole bunch of work to be done, regardless I will do everything I can to finish the update as fast as possible, and finally start working on Chapter 3 and move the story forward.
