Hey everyone!
As many of you know, this game uses NVL mode for its dialogue presentation. NVL displays the text in a scrolling, full-screen format. I chose this because I like the way some games present this dialogue, in particular Disco Elysium.
However, most Ren'Py games traditionally use ADV mode. ADV shows the dialogue in a more classic visual novel format – text box at the bottom, character sprites above, and one line of dialogue at a time. It’s simpler to write and code, and it's what many players are familiar with.
So here’s where you come in:
Which style do you prefer?
Would you rather continue with the NVL-style experience as it currently is, or switch to the more common ADV format for future builds?
Your feedback is crucial in shaping how the game evolves – both in terms of how it's written and how it plays. Please take a moment to vote in the poll below and let me know your thoughts in the comments too!
Thanks for your continued support!
