Hey look! Another "I'm not dead"!
Seriously xD as the title says, I promise I'm not dead and I am working away at the next update as fast as I can.
Some context as to what's going on.
As many of you know, my dad has been undergoing surgeries for his shoulder lately, he's had his 3rd surgery just last month around the 12th. So I've been helping him out as much as I can. Which ate up the first half of October.
As for the second half and up until now... I broke my foot. xD
As a few of you in the Discord know, I ended up rolling the bajeesus out of my ankle on Oct 7th. After waiting a couple of weeks to get in and see the orthopedist finally, we were worried I had torn my lisfranc ligament, which would've required surgery and fusing of the bone. Thankfully, after an MRI, it was revealed that I had actually not torn it and instead spiderweb fractured the base of my 3rd metatarsal. Furthermore, I managed to get damn lucky on it all and everything broke in place/didn't dislocate. So I've had practically no pain outside of the actual injury week. Just been having to wear a boot/crutches for a bit.
So, suffice it to say, October was pretty well a big ol dud for me in terms of getting content made, despite being home-bound. So, to that end, I'm looking at getting the next update out here on the 22nd, which would've been November's release date.
I apologize for the delay and thank those supportive during this time!

A trip to the Chiropractor has my fingies sorted out (herniated disk), so I've got >99% feeling back in my digits.
Did some more debugging on the PC and found what was causing all the issues. Turns out DazStudio REALLY REALLY hates it if you turn off Windows Page Filing (Virtual Memory).
Both of my prior issues resolve and the next 8 days off from work, we gonna get this update out soon! >:3

Update v1.9.0 Delayed.
Apologies everyone, I've fought tooth and nail trying to get this update further along but I've been absolutely flattened by life. I really was on a solid track to have this update released on time and then all the cheese slid off all the crackers at once.
As I've expressed in recent posts/releases, my dad underwent rotator cuff surgery recently, which has led to me having to take up the primary load of work which has resulted in my experiencing nerve damage. All of my fingers have been numb for about the past 8-9 days now, which makes keyboard/mouse work not impossible, but quite taxing.
This is further compounded by the fact that I've been experiencing computer issues. Everything was running perfectly fine up until a day ago and then suddenly everything started crapping out. Renders fail to complete or even fail to start at all.
I've got a backup rig I'll be falling back to until this update is out, but with none of my troubleshooting seeming to solve anything, I'm left with the only option of formatting and reinstalling Win11 on this machine.
Sorry again for the delay and I'm working as fast as I can to get the update out as soon as I can. I appreciate your understanding.

Explanation - Update Delay
Heyyo guys, wanted to post and letcha know I'm still alive and still working on the upcoming update.
To explain what's going on, I've been drafted into helping my dad out IRL a lot. He's going in for surgery on his shoulder at the end of the month (Thursday). So I've had to pick up a lot of the slack. I'll be getting about a 1-month break to really hammer down on things after the surgery but it's been busy busy lately. All of this paired with engine-related issues (DazStudio being dumb) causing renders to take significantly longer. I've got some ideas how to debug it, but it's delayed progress nonetheless.
