In the early hours of the morning, shortly after I finished my daily rendering, my computer shut down. And it refused to turn on again. Today I took it to a computer service, I don't know what's wrong with it yet. Hopefully it was just the power supply that died.
The bad news is that, until they fix it, I can't continue rendering. On the upside, I can continue working on the translation. So only part of the work is stopped.
How much this will delay the release, I don't know yet. Although it's only Friday morning here, I'm pretty sure I won't get my computer back this week. So I'll miss three days for sure, but I don't think there will be any improvement even on Monday. I will be lucky if I get my computer back on Tuesday.
So keep your fingers crossed that it will be ready as soon as possible.

Unbelievable, but May is over. This month I finished 225 images and 5 animations. And how much more is left? Still a lot, but not so much. I'd say about 80% finished.
I'm currently working on the party, which, despite my initial concerns, is progressing quickly. But they are still very complex scenes, because I have to make them with several characters (Kendra & Rick, Ashley & Rick, Miranda & Rick, and only Rick). I am currently working on the Kendra thread. Fortunately, many of the images that were taken for this can be used for the other threads.
And, once I've finished the party, there are only two big stages left. One of these is more complicated, but it might not take long to make. So I am writing very cautiously now that the release could come in July. I know it's still a long time, especially after Chapter 9 Part 1 came out in January. But Chapter 9 Part 2 will be a big chapter, plus the gallery will be included in the next update.

Unfortunately, this month was mainly dominated by the technical problem mentioned in the previous post. Because of this, I'm quite behind schedule and I don't know yet if I can catch up. Of course, I'm not deleting a scene from the chapter this time. The good news is that the scene I am currently working on is coming together faster than I thought.  So maybe I'll have a chance to catch up here and there.

Unfortunately, I cannot write any more than this. But, if you have any questions, feel free to ask here or on Discord. Just don't ask me about the release, because I can't give you a concrete answer yet. But, if I have anything to say about it, you'll be the first to know.

I have been having technical problems for the last few days. The rendering time of Daz3D has become incomprehensible. I did one picture in ten minutes, and the next one, where I only changed one facial expression, in an hour and a half. For a while, it worked by restarting Daze after each picture. After a while, this was no longer an option either.
It was quite irritating, and of course it slowed down the rendering a hell of a lot. But now the problem seems to have been solved. Windows updates piled up, and after I installed them all, the problem went away. What the pending updates have to do with the performance of Daz3d, I don't really know. But now the rendering has been going smoothly for a couple of days.
But don't ask yet when it will be released. I wouldn't make any predictions just yet. Three quarters of the chapter is done, but I still have a complex section ahead of me.
