In the early hours of the morning, shortly after I finished my daily rendering, my computer shut down. And it refused to turn on again. Today I took it to a computer service, I don't know what's wrong with it yet. Hopefully it was just the power supply that died.
The bad news is that, until they fix it, I can't continue rendering. On the upside, I can continue working on the translation. So only part of the work is stopped.
How much this will delay the release, I don't know yet. Although it's only Friday morning here, I'm pretty sure I won't get my computer back this week. So I'll miss three days for sure, but I don't think there will be any improvement even on Monday. I will be lucky if I get my computer back on Tuesday.
So keep your fingers crossed that it will be ready as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, this month was mainly dominated by the technical problem mentioned in the previous post. Because of this, I'm quite behind schedule and I don't know yet if I can catch up. Of course, I'm not deleting a scene from the chapter this time. The good news is that the scene I am currently working on is coming together faster than I thought.  So maybe I'll have a chance to catch up here and there.

Unfortunately, I cannot write any more than this. But, if you have any questions, feel free to ask here or on Discord. Just don't ask me about the release, because I can't give you a concrete answer yet. But, if I have anything to say about it, you'll be the first to know.

Well, another month has ended. The first part of Chapter 9, which itself is as long as the previous chapters, will be ready soon. Moreover, many things will depend on how you decided before. This is especially true for Kelly, who has three different scenarios to play through, two of which are the end of her storyline.

By the way, I wrote two scenes that will only be in the Extended Version. One will be at the beginning of the chapter (foreshadowing some future events), the other at the end, and I think this second one will be freak you out.

This concludes the writing process for the first half of the Chapter 9, I will not add any more scenes.  I will also finish the coding tonight and start translating tomorrow. At the same time, I'll make the rest of the images and animations - the latter are the most problematic, as they take several hours of work. In addition, I made a serious mistake on one of them, so 5 hours of work went down the drain because I noticed it too late.

So, in principle, you don't have to wait much longer to dive into the next chapter of Rick and Cora's life.
