Well, it has been an exciting month. The Alpha 2 has been released and I've been hard at work on the Alpha 3, and I have to say I'm making great progress. Alpha 2 already included some scenes from Alpha 3. One of these scenes appeared without pictures (Rick was talking to Judit on the phone), thanks to my inattention.

Well, the plan was to make all of these scenes in July, and for the most part I did. The only thing left is the Judit scene I mentioned, but it's short, so I'll do that tomorrow. Which means that once these are completed, the Rick-Ash and Rick-Ash-Miranda hiking will follow, as well as some smaller events with Rick after the hike.

However, it remains to be seen how well I will do with the hiking scenes. This is the first time I will render a forest landscape on a larger scale. So far, I have avoided this except for fanarts and some wallpapers, as rendering these images is usually not easy. But we'll see, hopefully I'll be able to make some settings that will help me get the images and animations done quickly.

I'm optimistic for now, but I wouldn't give a release month yet. Let's just say that I'm targeting autumn. In the meantime thank you for your kind words, your honest criticism and thank you very much to my patrons for their support. In the early hours of the morning, shortly after I finished my daily rendering, my computer shut down. And it refused to turn on again. Today I took it to a computer service, I don't know what's wrong with it yet. Hopefully it was just the power supply that died.
The bad news is that, until they fix it, I can't continue rendering. On the upside, I can continue working on the translation. So only part of the work is stopped.
How much this will delay the release, I don't know yet. Although it's only Friday morning here, I'm pretty sure I won't get my computer back this week. So I'll miss three days for sure, but I don't think there will be any improvement even on Monday. I will be lucky if I get my computer back on Tuesday.
So keep your fingers crossed that it will be ready as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, this month was mainly dominated by the technical problem mentioned in the previous post. Because of this, I'm quite behind schedule and I don't know yet if I can catch up. Of course, I'm not deleting a scene from the chapter this time. The good news is that the scene I am currently working on is coming together faster than I thought.  So maybe I'll have a chance to catch up here and there.
