I got so many questions lately if I'm alive, so I thought it will be just easier to write this post.

I am alive.

Mostly.

This last weeks, or actually months, were freaking rough, man. I mean, I've been working from home all my life, so I was pretty adjusted... and still this god damn lock down made me a miserable depressed fuck. There were many mornings when I had to fight myself to even get myself up from the bed. Things were rough, as I'm sure they were for many of you too... And life goes on, it doesn't wait for you...

So here we are. April. How the fuck this happened?

And more importantly...

Where is 0.3.0?

Ok, I know, you want the update, not another post about the update. And you've been so patient, you totally deserve it. But... bare with me for a moment.

I've been working on the game on and off for the last 3 months. It was a battle. I was soooo burned out, but I really wanted to deliver for you guys something extraordinary. I created this wall of expectations in my head. I was pushing things forward, dreading through, but the end was never there...

And today I finally realized - I need to change my approach and release what I have as soon as possible, or I will go insane.

I playtested the game in current state. Not everything I hoped for is there, but I think I have quite a lot. It's not gonna be second coming of Christ, but I think you guys gonna like it. There's more features then content, because writing content was really something that I struggled the most lately, but I think there's enough of both and this update fills some holes in gameplay nicely.

So what's the plan?

My plan is to crunch through Easter and next week to wrap things up, and then release it with whatever state it's in. There's no point in cooking it anymore, there's always 0.3.1 to fix problems and expand things further.

The deadline for 0.3.0 is 11.04.2021

Seriously. It will happen.

And here's a list of stuff that I want to include in 0.3.0

1. College area

You can go to College, take one of four classes (Art Class, Female Studies, Nerd Studies, Sex Ed). The way it works is that each class has a list of interesting facts, that you can get from attending lessons, and you might want to remember, because there are exams that you should take to get better grades.

This is done and working, some polish needed but that's it. 99% done.

2. Sex experience system

You will now gather experience in each sex position and advance your level (1, 2 or 3 stars) in that particular position. This is something that I promised many months ago, so I'm really happy to deliver.

Gathering experience and stars already works, but I still need to add bonuses for having stars, so that you will have a reason to get them. This shouldn't take long in comparison with how much time I wasted writing sex system from scratch. I'd say - 80% done.

3. New character - Karma RX

This is where I struggle the most - story. I already have Karma in the game, you can meet her in one of the classes and during the exams, and sometimes in the toilet, but at the moment I have very little you can do with her. My plan was to add an intro quest, like for Mia, but at the moment I just want to release the game as soon as possible, so I'll probably just add couple more simple things for her, and then develop her further in next versions. I'd say 60% done.

4. New character - secret camgirl... Kandii Kitten

So basically - secret camgirl I was mentioning in my previous post is Kandii Kitten. You can check her out here https://www.patreon.com/kandiikitten/posts . The situation with her is similar to the one with Karma - she's already in the game but very very limited. But it has to be like that for now, or I'll never release this fucker. I'd say 40% done.

5. Polls in the game

Because the game has some supporters on Patreon, some on Subscribestar, and some through PayPal, I decided to make Polls in the game itself. So you will be able to vote on which actress should play the Art Class teacher directly on the screen of the art class.

The entire poll system is done and working, there are already 2 polls in the game ("Which questline I should continue next", and "Which 'work in progress' quest I should write next"), so you can save your vote and view poll results. Now I just need to add 4 separate polls for each class teacher, because I want you guys to help me choose the actresses for each of the teachers, but it's super simple in comparison with writing the entire working poll system in the Twine game - I'd say 90% done.

6. Rent system

The idea is that from now on you will pay for staying at Daphne's house. And the amount will depend on your actions in the house. If she doesn't like what you're doing - she will raise the rent. If she likes you - she might lower it. And what if you can't pay her? Well, she will be very disappointed and will punish you of course. This is 25% done.

7. Weekly stats

Every week your dad will send you money as an allowance. But he will also lower the amount or raise it, depending on how good you're at school (gotta take those exams). Additionally to that - each week will now have a patron. For example during "Week of the whore" you will get bonus domination/love with girls who have a trait "Whore". And so on. This was something that was planned all along, and as we now have 7 characters with different traits it starts to make sense. This is 60% done.

8. Bugs (including recursion error), typos, rewrites

Recursion error is fixed (again!) alongside hundred of others. The game should work faster, especially on Firefox. I also fixed hundreds of little typos and rewritten some parts of the story, often based on your feedback on Discord - thanks! This is already 100% done.

9. UI rework, including mobile

I've tested the game lot and made a shitload of changes in the UI to make the game work better on mobile phones (especially Android).

There's also more and more things needed on each of the screen, so I needed to redesign them. I made the characters screen expandable (as now there's 7 characters, we gotta make space for them on the screen), made the player screen expandable with different sections (consumables and other items are now separated, and there's a list of your kamasutra together with your experience in that sex position), also made the quests list much more clear and readable (especially with the separation of work in progress quests).

This is already 100% done.

10. Travel system between areas

This is a small thing, but it is a thing, so I mention it. You will now travel between areas by bus. Later in the development I plan to add random events during bus rides, and also a possibility to have a vehicle you can buy/find (car/bike). But in this version - just bus. 100% done.
