Shards of the Past releases on Steam October 16th
It is finally happening! Shards of the Past will launch into Early Access on Steam on Friday, October 16!
This has been a long road and I want to thank everyone who has supported this project and followed along with the development updates. I am both excited and nervous, but this is a big milestone and I thank you all for your help in getting here.
Price & Launch Discount
Shards of the Past will be $9.99 USD, with a 10% launch discount ($8.99).
Buying during Early Access gets you every future content update as it's released, and you will continue to receive updates until it is completed.
What's in the Early Access Version
Version 0.4.1 includes:
- 7,400+ story renders (not counting Journal, Gallery, or Achievement images)
- 158,000+ words of story dialogue
- Multiple main story paths with numerous dialogue choices. Many choices matter now and will carry into future updates
- Achievement system
- Image gallery unlocked through gameplay and earned achievements
- A journal that tracks your character's journey and offers insight into the motives of the people you've met
- An interactive map that updates as you explore new areas
- A complete soundtrack for every scene and event
Available in 6 Languages
English, French, Spanish (Latin America), Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, and Russian.
What Can You Do To Get Ready
- Wishlist Shards of the Past to be notified the moment it launches. Every one counts and it is the best way to support the game even if you don't plan on purchasing it.
- Try the free demo which has been updated and is available on the Steam page. If you have not had the chance to play, the demo is a good way to test the waters.
