September 2024 Update: Back on our feet.


Hello, my wonderful degenerates!

It's been a pretty good month all around for our little series, lots of projects underway or completed, new faces on the team and the steady return to pre-Patreon support, I've honestly not felt this good about pushing forward for quite a few months! So while keeping this brief, I want to offer you all a rundown on what we have in store for next month and the rest of the year!

Issue #5 and Issue #6

Issue #5 is just getting underway, and while I won't spoil too much, these next pages will be our most comical and action-packed yet, I hope you all have enjoyed seeing more of the wider GoS universe and much more of it is coming. At the same time, we will be starting Issue #6 this year and for those of you with a love for a certain red-head, it may be one of your favorites. ;)


Galaxy of Scum #1 The Audio Dub

Yep, we're finally taking a shot at a full-length audio dub of our current roster of comics! With Kassioppia returning as the voice of Astra, while also introducing many new talented VAs to fill out our cast, I'm hopeful these dubs will satisfy the itch for those of you who have wished for this series to flesh out its lore and add some voices to our characters! 

Galaxy of Scum: The Game

For those of you in the Spy and higher tiers, you know the Game Demo is now done! It was quite the ride and a fun challenge to undertake, more content for this game is coming, though I will be taking a break in September to catch my breath and improve on the next segments of the game, possibly picking up work on the next updates in October or November.

Alongside these works, Mysteries of Moraq will be making a slow return in the form of its own Audio Comic, along with further upgrades to the roleplay and lore sections, it's a marathon, not a sprint etc.

End of the month recap, July 30th - New Tier and Gratitude

Greetings my dear degenerates, I'm never good at these openings so I think I'll cut right to the chase on what updates are ongoing with our series!

First and foremost, this month has certainly been a challenge what with the loss of the Patreon, for a brief period after I genuinely believed this series would come crashing down to a slow crawl as we picked ourselves up from the ash of that bombshell, to be quite honest, in the opening days I was left feeling depressed, thinking the series days were numbered. We had so much planned and none of it felt within reach anymore.

These worries were quickly washed away because of you, the support and enthusiasm I received over the course of this month to where we recovered nearly half of our support base is nothing short of incredible, and I want to thank you all so fucking much for believing in our work and for subscribing. Because of this, our series can continue, and my optimism has returned to where we have already begun production/sketching for Issue #5 + #6!

We still have some recovery to do, the game demo is now 70% done and I'm working as quickly as I can to get the full thing complete, stay tuned there!

Now onto something else. Galaxy of Scum and the work we do wouldn't be possible without the support and love you all show for our series, so I want to give back to this community that has made my dreams a reality, which is why we have introduced the new Star-Captain Tier. This limited-time tier offers you the chance to feature your OC in Galaxy of Scum as a cameo! 

The spots for this tier are limited; those who join can present their OC to me and have two 1-on-1 sessions to plan their OC's appearance + the scene they will be in, and then check the sketching process. Keep in mind this option will only be available once per Issue, and your character will appear a month after subscribing so we have time to fit them into the coming pages.
