End of the year update: Set coordinates to 2026!

Ahhh, the year draws to a close, with festive decorations aboard our spaceships, and Zoog Nuts roasting on an open reactor core. I hope everyone had a good year! And if you didn't, that's what next year is for!

This year for Galaxy of Scum has left me feeling content with what's been done, merch, collabs, and multiple comic releases. It's a strong base to jump off into 2026. During this month, I had a lot of time to reflect on the series, the achievements, the mistakes, the ever-growing community that pushed me forward, and, importantly, the wonderful contributors to this world whose impact can be felt in the pages. I will continue to be thankful, grateful and humble that you chose to support this series.

Galaxy of Scum to me is no longer just my work, but a group effort, something many have added to in their own way, and I think that's awesome. It's become a place where input from the community matters.

However, with the change of the year, so too will a change in content appear, if just for a brief time!

What is the change?

Issue #9 and its joint comic Issue #10 are both palace-spanning tales that will wrap up what I am dubbing as ''Volume 1'', making up the string of GoS comics that have been in production. An arc that was both an introduction to our characters, the world, and its plots. A saga of experimentation with themes, styles, and a steady evolution of the world.

Volume 2 is aimed at refining all of these aspects, a chance for me to really dial in and improve the next Issues to build upon its foundations. Everything from new outfit redesigns for our palace girls, character development for the main cast, new plot threads, more expansion of the lore, and a structured narrative, I aim to give myself time to set up.

That means a break, but not from the series. Issue #10 should be completed in Spring 2026, which will then be followed by a chain of mini-adventures following multiple characters for a few months before starting Volume 2. This gives me a 6 month headstar to write all of the major comics, making them as clean and polished as possible before putting them to page. During that time, I will be releasing smaller stories centered around things both the community has asked for, and what I find hot!

How does that look?

The fun part is I have already begun writing Issue #11, #12, and the highly requested #0, so this extra time will allow me to sharpen them up!

Short stories:

Beach day: Every anime has its beach episode, so this one is ours! Astra loves a vacation, warm sands, crystal lagoons, and a cool drink. The beach world of Palmari has it all! But even on such tranquil worlds, lewd dangers are rife!

Barrack gangbang: A Vetrex story centered around her defeat at the end of Issue #4, will our feisty Imperial babe be able to handle the lustful desires of an entire Abutan barrack?

A well-oiled ship: Captain Nialia runs a tight crew, that's why she's the best! But when a certain young upstart officer joins her ship, she'll need to find more experimental ways to control those eager nerves!

2026-2027

Volume 2

- Issue #0: The Spy: A retelling of the fateful day Astra fell into the slimy grip of Urgo!

- Issue #11: The Lady of Pleasure: Urgo isn't the only one with a beautiful harem; Kithi brothel owner, Vuloria Feretox, ''the Lady of Pleasure,'' and her associate Algark begin their schemes to supplant the Crime-Lord and snatch his girls!

- Issue #12: Void Reavers: A precious artefact, a deadly blonde, and a group of Kobarian reavers all star in a literal mind-fuck journey that tests wits, will, and endurance!

- Issue #13: Cruise:  Urgo doesn't always lurk in his palace; business trips to other worlds must be made, bringing in tow his harem of girls to parade around!

I hope you all will enjoy and support these next stories as I work away at them! Three years of storyboarding, writing, editing, and marketing have been a wonderful experience so far, yet when you're going full throttle, trying to do it all while also attempting to branch out, you can lose sight of your stories, and things can slip through the cracks. That's why I'm taking my time with these next comics. I owe it to each of you who support and believe in this series to do the best I can.
