We interrupt this normal month in review update to bring you a tale of the month of chaos. Between Gumroad changes which led to me shutting down my store front there and changes happening here on Patreon all my plans got thrown into chaos. 

If you've been around for a while, you probably know I'm very much a creature of habit and I absolutely hate disruptions to my routines. It's painfully stressful and I've missed quite a bit of sleep working this all out. Luckily past me set a lot of the foundations so the leap wasn't as big an effort as it could have been. Going forward I'm splitting my business in an effort not to run afoul out the new rules and spread my risk a bit more. I remember the Tumblr purge and I never want to be in the position of having my community nuked without a way to reach them. The winds having been blowing this way for a while so it's time to act.

Hello Fireflies!  

April has come and gone. It was a lot. Trying to get my business in order after all the changes at the end of March. I am so thankful for all the support from within my following and from the creator community around me. It made a lot of these difficult tasks a little easier.

☑️ WDIH Comic Pages - Make pages for 2 a month plus the backlog as time allows!

 I didn’t get much done for the backlog but I am steadily making progress getting back into making comics.

 Oh boy this was so much! I’m glad past me got this process started but it was not ideal to have to move so quickly. I’m glad you all came to join me here on Substar and 

☑️ Open Mech Shop at https://www.firecatrich.com/store

 This had been a plan for a while but the Gumroad store shut down gave me a kick in the butt to get this open. I’ll be realesing content in themed batches as they are ready and getting into a cycle of new designs and retiring old designs at the end of the season(?). I’ll be a matter of looking at the data after the first couple runs to make a plan. 

☑️ Anime Seasoning

The first look is done and will be out on May 1st! I’m really enjoying sharing my notes and there seemed to be quite a bit of interest. This will be the lion’s share of my content on Patreon but if there is interest I don’t see a problem with publishing it here on SubStar as well.

 Donuts! Or is it doughnuts? Either way, I’ve been trying to embrace the silly and spicy ideas as they float into my brain. This was part of that and since things were so stressful with getting my business in order this month it was nice to just run with the first idea that came into my head.
